I almost never get Legendary and those I do get are crap (cotton, buckler, leather).

Do SG arenas, specifically DwD. Better drops than TT, FSM, and even TTT. Yes, believe me, TTT is a waste of tokens.

yes, at your level you can use mag+ power up to ~ level 380, I believe. Maybe endgame for you if the rolls for what you want are good.

Yes. However, somehow, like 'something' said, there is 'something' wrong with maxed Lotd. I think the best chance to drop Legs is around 22-24. But that's just from experience, not hard data.

Well I stayed at 22 for quite a while and still got nothing. I wonder if I can "sell back" that last LOTD level. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/dry.gif)

Thanks for the advice on DwD, I can play it on PFUDOR but it takes forever to finish.

If I reforged a lvl 8 equipment, will it go back to lvl 0 or lvl 7?

I have about a total of 500+ of school girls and boss trophies, does LotD effect the qualities of the items you get? Curious of the chances of getting a Leg item. Was planning to sell it all cause I need some extra credits.

No.

Free shops shouldn't even exist. You can only buy perfect gear for tens of millions or slightly-less-than perfect gear overpriced at millions. Decent upgrades get put in the free shops, and good luck finding the same on your own. You can't even donate to them because they have too much or what they have is just better-enough not to bother.
I miss the days when gear had levels.

First and foremost, if you're sticking w/ 1h, first thing is always to work on your shield. Looking at near magmax or even forging your near exqmax will change the game. You should keep an eye out for a 3pab exmax at least. For other gear, replace the legs and helm first. Alternatively if taking too much damage in pfudor, try trading out a bad power piece for plate.

For hath use, if you find/think mana will be an issue, go IA3, if not, VV. Also don't forget you can feather your force shield for long runs if mana is a worry.

For IWBTH/PFUDOR try bringing MORE health potions (Double dip with regen + healthpots) and/or use scrolls when #of mobs starts giving you trouble in later rounds. IE if you are fine (rarely need to cure) w/ up to 5 mobs, use it when there are 6 mobs. If you're having trouble constantly w/ just the beginning rounds w/ 4 mobs, work on upgrading gear first.

Use weaken and/or make sure last few mobs are stunned, before focusing. Strategic use of weaken is occasionally good too.

like others have said, you need better gear. those slaughter gear are okay, but their roll/PAB are bad and that'll lower your base damage (equipment attack damage + Str + Dex). personally, i did IWBTH Arenas with only non-slaughter power gear. if you look around in WTB, most of them is going for 10-50k. then i got OFC, to do PF arenas up to TTT. if you want, you can use those 250haths (ie ~2.2mil credits) to buy a decent set of Exquisite power gear (maybe even a few decent slaughter gear) & OFC (75k x 21 = 1575k). could spend a bit on a good rapier & shield too. though, after OFC you'll have ~675k for equipment. imo, it's plenty if you mix slaughter with non-slaughter power gear. you can probably even keep your armor & boots.

Q1) I am able to do RE on PFUDOR and Arenas up to TTT on BT, but i just can't make the jump to IWBTH on any Arena with more than 40 rounds. I either just die outright or run out of potions. Focus doesn't seem to do the job either as i just get hit quite hard by any mob i leave standing.
Same with HF, i just seem to die after round 200 or run out of potions somewhere around 300-400.
Just what am i missing? ;(

generally, i bring 1 Health & 1 Spirit Potion, then the rest is mana. because with mana i can use Cure & drain monsters for Spirits. don't use focus, use defend.

Q2) I'm creeping closer to 250 hath, and i'm wondering which of the 250hath perks (VV, Thinking Cap, IA3, Crystarium I) would be best after IA2?

Bad in general. Though I think you could sell it for 20k to people looking cheap 3PAB phase.

In addition to being mediocre at best, are these a bug, or simply a relic from an older version? Any real reason to keep them, or are they the equivalent of a Crude Scythe (i.e., Bazaar fodder)?

It's the new shade of arcanist. It needs to be Mag+ to have buyer (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/heh.gif) Exq can probably get you 5-10k. Sup is bazzaar fodder

Shade Arcanist will hv INT/WIS PABs, imo, the PAB roll is decent, but the attack damage bonus/evade/etc is average. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)

Oh, dont get me wrong. I love my cookie, but one per day isnt that much. And all perks i have are Postage Paid and IA I and II. But it makes no difference by the money i have, because i dont sell them, thats what i wanna say in my previously post.

Using OFC for TTT at PF is an overkill. I am doing it now with 1H Shade while training 1H prof (170). With that kind of firepower, why aren't you doing the Marathons? I tried doing End of Days last night at 155 prof and it was frustrating to say the least but I think it will be doable once I raise the prof near to my exp level.

Convert the Hath that you've been hoarding to credits and get yourself some decent equipment. It's amazing how much you've got invested in training and perks but your personal gear is a disgrace. If you want to play at the highest level, your gear has to help you not hinder you. Those 1 and 2 PAB equipment has to go, the only time you should consider wearing them is if they had an exceptionally high ADB (I mean Legendary levels), that you can justify sacrificing some defensive capability for that extra offensive power.

No, sorry that's a misconception. Mage gear is exponentially more expensive (or more valued) than melee gears. Now is the best time to buy melee gears, bc most high level (rich?) players are maging.

A year ago, Legendary Power of Protection Leggings went for 10m. Now they go for 1m. Same for Estoc, Rapier, Axe, whatever. Leg Shadowdancer hits a max of 10m.

A year ago, Legendary Elemental Phase was <5m. Now they go for upwards of 15-20m. Don't even think about Leg Heimdall gear, which can go for >20m.

OFC is a bit overkill, but given the price of power slaughter gear & force shield. imo, it's a "cheaper" upgrade. also, faster clearing time = more arenas = more credits. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

seriously, my cheap ass Exquisite rapier/force shield/power gear cost <150k each. and the slightly better stuff cost 500+k in auctions. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/faint.gif)

though, what do you mean by Marathons? you mean SG arenas? imo, they're decent, but frustratingly slow (an 1.5hrs+ @BT). i just tried out imperil a bit, it's faster, but i guess i need to sink in more credits for Ability Points to find out more.

better offhand with higher parry chance. with Shade DW, evade + parry to help you survive higher levels. slowly upgrade your superior stuff to Exq. also, try to max out pack rat for more potions.

i think your main hand is fine.

as for credits, try to do as many Arenas as possible on the highest possible difficult. then save up all the Blood Tokens for the Flying Spaghetti Monster when you reach lv200. the Noodly drop can easily sell for 55-60k credits.
