QUOTE(Drakewyn @ Mar 5 2014, 23:24) A lady who makes multiple bids, knowing they'll be out-bid on most (if not all) items. You'll note that I never bid much over 100k.
Shouldnt this depend on whats the item is worth for you?

If I upgrade my shade and salvage things I've upgraded, what exactly will I get back? Bindings? MG and HG Materials? Shade Fragments?
Would I be better off salvaging as I upgrade or selling?

Random is so random. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) 700 rounds of hellfest: Precursor Artifact - 0 Amnesia Shard - 0 Chaos Token - 0 BUT Token of Blood - 3 QUOTE(animeai @ Mar 6 2014, 00:44) If I upgrade my shade and salvage things I've upgraded, what exactly will I get back? 80-90% (depends of forge level) of every type of material (materials, bindings and others) spent on upgrades rounded down, as much as i know. This post has been edited by LazyShd: Mar 5 2014, 22:52

If you salvage you get min 80% of the stuff you put in. As in bindings, materials, fragments, etc. So if you forged 100 binding of slaughters, and you salvage the weapon, you get back 80 slaughter bindings, and ~380-400 HG metals. If your salvage level is 50, you get 90% back. I'm at level 38forge, and I get back 85%, so there is some kind of gradation. If your forged weapon is not Leg, you won't be able to sell it for a price you want, so the best thing is to salvage it. YOu can ask a level 50'er to salvage it, and pay some creds, or salvage yourself. but you also lose forge exp everytime you salvage something that was forged. that's another benefit to multi-acounting. forge the shit out of something. send it to your other account and salvage, send mats back, repeat.

So, when I do IWBTHfest and BTfest, I ran out of spirit pot (5) before mana pot (10), but when I do PFUDORfest, I ran out of mana pot before spirit pot. Weird (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/sleep.gif)

I beg your pardon, I'd say you've won your fair share of equipment while bidding low in the less well known auctions for little more than a song and a dance. I'd been tempted to raise the bids but the times I peruse the auctions in WTS is usually when I have placed a bid in other auctions and I'd be in serious trouble should I happen to win both.

Well I popped my first spirit pot ~ round 100 of IWBTHfest, And PFEST ~ round 130. That's probably because I use Defend more often in PFEST ;/

You're right. I got my current Axe & Hammer for 20k each... and I'm very glad to have them. But again, the highest I've ever bid on an item is ~120k. Just get lucky. You might check to see when there's a high interest item in the Lottery and sell some GP for extra credits sometime... Of course, it helps that I'm ~14th highest in the Torrent Tracker. That's a nice GP bonus.

I made a script to check this inequation monster_danger * 0.5 >= 20 - 2 * Math.min(stats.difficulty + 0.01 * current_round, 8) If the condition holds true or when my HP is below 65%, I use defend I basically give each monster 1 danger point if they have 50% MP. 2 danger point if they have 100% MP or SP, 3 danger point if they have 100% on both MP and SP, monster_danger is the sum of all danger point of all monster. tl;dr basically use defend when you think 4 monsters are able to cast spell. Really interesting idea and even better when you can do the scripting. But it looks really faceroll unfriendly, isn't clear speed is to slow?

I actually made a script to recommend me what to do , who to attack in the next 4 turn so I can use ajax request and skip 4 page-reload. The whole script is fucking huge, 1000+ lines of code (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif) Either spam cure, or spam Defend. I can't really faceroll with PFUDORfest. Nope, and will never be, though a lot of my scrip releases are snippets from its code. This post has been edited by holy_demon: Mar 6 2014, 02:47

QUOTE(Scremaz @ Mar 5 2014, 18:22) maybe i should've autocasted haste, but what's wrong with what i did?
The first thing you should autocast on an IWBTH/PFUDOR random encounter is Spark of Life, then Haste, then the rest. Anything else is "wrong". (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)

It's good income if you've got a strong source of GP... Never sell for less than 202 credits though.
