QUOTE(dnbdave @ Mar 4 2014, 08:41) That's what my money was on. While I'm on the subject let me know if i'm wrong on this: $bazzarprice for an item is what it would sell to bazzar x4 (or is it x5?) Pretty sure, just need a confirmation. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif) x5, except for crystals/monster food.

QUOTE(Teresa of the Faint Smile @ Mar 3 2014, 20:23) clear lol? didn see a screen from ya, if you can go deeper, as i did @ pfudorfest. show me!!! (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/duck.gif) It was really a hard and long journey (6+ hours) with spamming too much Weaken, Focus and Spirit Theft. Unfortunately I didn't capture the clear screen, though. But it was done before the speed bug fix, I guess I barely reach 800~850 rounds now. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif) The monsters of PFUDOR are too scary now. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif) I tried just now, and failed at 851 rounds. It's so sad because I could clear it if I turned on SoL for there's still enough potions left (6 MP potion, 4 SP potion) (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/cry.gif) QUOTE(holy_demon @ Mar 4 2014, 13:19) Heck getting Daemon Duality can be a better investment (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/sleep.gif) It sure is. QUOTE(holy_demon @ Mar 4 2014, 02:38) Just do everything on PFUDOR, I can make 300k daily from doing all arena and bazaaring trash.
Stamina isn't an issue if you're not doing IW or GF
If I do everything on PFUDOR I think I could beat the first arena. Not sure about any of the other ones. I'll probably lost most of the random encounters on PFUDOR though. I don't know how you guys do it but as a mage everything just kills me so quickly. And the other guy earlier "I find it laughable that level 250s are playing on difficulties they can sleep through"? What are you talking about? On Hell I can get one shot by random monsters if they hit a skill on me. And it's not like I one shot them or even anything close to that. And I don't see better equip that I could at some point even get being helpful in that regard - I don't see it giving me more than 50% increased damage output, which would still fall short quite hard. You have to remember that maging at levels like 250 I can't even hit all the monsters at once with my T3 spells, because they just don't hit enough targets. Not to mention they have like 5 or 6 round cooldowns on top of it. And T2 spells hit 1 target more than T1 spells (6 and 5 respectively).

I also use Defend or cast Full-Cure in case of during Cure's cooldown, but a sudden lag happens so I couldn't quickly react it... I never used SoL after I reached 350 lvl and got VV. But even with SS, it seems that the last 200~300 rounds of PFUDORfest need SoL to prevent one-shot kill. I don't use any shards or infusions. QUOTE 300 rounds is my limit for PFUDOR fest (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) Now, where to get 15m? (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif) From a lot of Hellfest runs. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)

QUOTE(Cats Lover @ Mar 4 2014, 08:11) From a lot of Hellfest runs. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif) i know it, all of a sudden even after stamina change hellfest is good again (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif), but still saying around in this thread not only you cat/holy_demon/Colman, everyone should do higher difficulty festing, imo people here should always point out opinions/advice base on their for their lvl/equip/trainings/perks only and not telling something they pick from someone else.... low guys only try to imitate and just fail(complain rains all the time of wasted time/credits/hath coz of this). full infos? (maybe they get it here but they are to lazy keeping track reading this whole thread since usefull info are so wide spreaded). (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif) lazy player are a pain to even try to advicing since 3/4 of them dont read back, or useing search function in in this thread (just decoration (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/duck.gif) ) to find topics they have problems with, just keep spaming same few question over and over again. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif) allready know, it will do nothing to make this thread any better pointing this out. In your case I cannot comment because I have no experience as a mage but perhaps n125 and other magi might share some insight on maging. When does a mage start becoming more effective against higher level mobs? I just can't imagine myself playing for some 250+ levels at a difficulty no higher than Hell, I would have quit long ago.

Why no infusion? It can increase your single-target damage by 10-50% QUOTE(LazyShd @ Mar 4 2014, 19:11) Well you must have got lucky with the auction bid or the seller. Use Spirit Shield + Spark of Life all the time. Learn to use Defend when you can feel incoming danger (eg. 5+ monster with full mana/spirit) QUOTE You have to remember that maging at levels like 250 I can't even hit all the monsters at once with my T3 spells, because they just don't hit enough targets. So it's like 2H+power with less defense and no stun mechanism. Yeah don't get lazy with recasting SS and SoL This post has been edited by holy_demon: Mar 4 2014, 10:54

(IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif) I've been entertaining some strategies in my head, but I've never bothered trying them out. I'm sure monster resist will inevitably fuck everything up in the end.

Accidentally found it in one of the shops in WTS. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

How high EDB and MDB (or Magic Score) required...? (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif)

just spend the past 70mins doing 204 rounds of BTfest until i ran out of mana potions and died.
end up getting ~7k in credits, 11 equipment drops (mostly Average, only 1 leather Exq), ~700-800 crystals (without any Crystarium perks), a bunch of potions & a handful of scrolls, etc. iirc, it's until round 127 the crystal drop went from x2 to x3 per monster.
note to self, finish all the Arenas first before doing any grindfest. personally, i can get 30k+ credits & better drop with 200 rounds in Arenas.

There is a reason why most of the people play Hellfest or PFfest only.

PFfest for equipments and Hellfest for everything else. Crystals is just one of the drop that can make profits.

QUOTE(dnbdave @ Mar 4 2014, 01:05) This has bugged the hell out of me several times today...
In the bazzar and ooh! Lookit the several magnificent ridiculous whatever of impulsebuys! Swap tabs, cash out hath, refresh the shop just seconds later and poof... half the list of equips is gone, including what was good of course.
People snatching those items I can understand, just not coming back to the shop 10 seconds later and the same list showing half the gear. There has to be a rational explaination for that which I'm not seeing. Please to enlighten?
Unless you constantly carry a balance large enough to snag anything, no matter how expensive, if you're short it seems like you're SOL.
I think what happens is the bazaar auto clears a lot of items. I've sold a ton of junk multiple times and after a couple minutes a lot of it disappears. And having tried tracking them by checking their item page, they just get taken in by the system and deleted afterwards.

Hi, which is the script that shows the monsters HP on their healthbar? I've seen it on some screenshots here and it seems handy.

HV STAT shows monsters HP & tracks a lot of other stuff. It's useful, but can be pretty laggy, especially, when it gathers a lot of data.
