That's my technique to get through RE PFUDOR since level 250 with 2H/DW + full power (3 slaughter, 2 protection)

Also don't forget to use Spirit Shield, because some custom monster starting from Nintendo are cabable of onehitting you.

Does Illithid can stay last longer than Slaughter in PF fest ?

Question: What would be the best staff? I primarily use Holy.

cos I find it hard to believe. If I were to define good drop as anything I can sell for 200k+, then I'd say I've got at least 10
You need more LoTD (23+) and play PFUDOR on pretty much everything. I got 2 leg (both useless leather pieces though) this week already

just curious, how much credits does it cost for 20+ LoTD trainings? a few million?

I don't even use the Illithid axe in Hellfest anymore. Now that monsters hit so hard with their physical skills, I can't afford to lose ~16% parry for a bit more facerolling value from the MP leech.

i'd say so. i couldn't do it without voidseeker + infusions + occasional spirit shield but i could do it. my stats probably weren't much better than yours.

then again, this was BEFORE gc got all sad over killing things slightly slower than usual and took it out on the rest of us, so my opinion might be moot.

I suggest mmax+ WD rapier of slaughter (40+ WD forged and 20+ parry forged) to clear PFUDORfest. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)
Moreover you'll need lmax force shield (20+ block forged). I think the shield is more important.

Will shortsword of slaughterbe viable? It has a bit more WD and parry than rapier in exchange for no PA\...

It may be viable on Hell- at least. You'll need PA to beat BT+ monsters, though.

not a mage, but i'd say the first one: if you can bear that burden you can also take the chance to boost every other stat and add holy strike (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

Spirit Shield is in autocast for 1H+Heavy, and will be for 2H/DW Shade too when i'll have IA2 (about other 50Hath). my actual power set is made of 1 balance, 2 protection and 2 warding, all exq/mag: i also tried to add a shielding piece with them but since it hasn't that big boost to block i left it. as for Defend, never used it too much but i'll give it a try
