Do you use imperil on them? And also a weapon with PA can make a great difference.
later I probably will write a message about what spells and equipment I used - it also explains why I've never used some skills including Imperil at low levels (below 200) and did not even plan to use in the near future
but after reading your post tried it without waiting for 310 level - saves about 35% of the time on pokemon and has low mana cost if used only for bosses - useful starting 175th levels and probably even earlier in the case of a top equipment - but it is not my case ^^
then again after reading your post - searched meaning of PA - penetrated armor and first try Rapier
did not go into details but seemed to me Axe + Imperil > Rapier + Imperil, but without using Imperil (the way I played all levels) Rapier > Axe, so continue to use Axe but with Imperil, @Stulpen, thanks for the post and for that I will not waiting extra 60 levels ^^

I clear PFUDOR End of Day in 40min nowadays.

schoolgirl arenas take long in general, even on normal. a better place to find out how fast you can clear stuff is T&T on hardest difficulty you can(IWBTH?).
QUOTE
Is that something he and I should be able to do?
I don't think I could even do a 50 round arena on IWBTH. Actually, I'm not even sure if I can do 20 rounds on IWBTH in Grindfest.
Something like Arena100 - The Trio And The Tree - takes 40 minutes on Hell, and I have not even tried to play the second list arena on difficulty higher than Hell until I get a 250 level and find good equipment - so play it only for exp/cred on difficulty with better rates per time with random equipment
I can easily pass pfudor Arena15 and perhaps higher - but it gave less good per minute and would take away much more time without using Spirit Shield which I consider useless below level 265, later i probably wrote about spark of life / spirit shield for levels 200-265

I've always felt that I'm really weak - I can't even do random encounters like a quarter of time on IWBTH because I simply die.

I do all my RE on IWTBH... unless I'm not paying attention, I always win (using 1h+power)
I am here certainly not the most experienced but is not the first time reading that the guys even higher level have problems with it so I will write my humble opinion on the matter coz even i dunno what the problem to win one round on pfudor = random encounter, even vs 10 pokemons if u level 220+ (i started to do it from about 150 level but to have 100% winrate without good equip need 220 and sometimes miss click or doubleclick = die even on level 250)
first of all, i'm playing 1H-Shade, so I can give a lot of love(stun+dmg) to one pokemon, and evade from others - but survival through equipment not so important for one round, as all lacks possible to compensate with help of potions and spells sparing no mana, stun - useful but not critical, damage for one pokemon - desirable coz long will kill without it, splash damage - undesirable coz break sleep
most difficult is first few turns, priority of actions:
- not die, heal
- give debuff
- give buff
- attack
do not use only Spirit Shield below level 265 especially for pfudor encounter - spark of life is better and required option, and using both of them are best option but just SoL is enough
Heal: Cure, Full Cure, Health Potions (before level 220 i played with equal numbers of Health and Mana potions, but after i got Full Cure i leave only one Health Potion mainly for encounter)
Maxed abilities of debuff and u got this:
Level 150 - hard, 2xSleep, 1xSilence, 1xWeaken
Level 170 - norm, 3xSleep, 2xSilence, 2xWeaken
Level 220 - easy, 3xSleep, 3xSilence, 2xWeaken, Full-Cure
[1/2/3 - number of targets at this level]
From the 165 level - easy to pump depr prof using weaken
Deprecating prof needed for silence - 40, more prof or higher speed bonus - more turns works buff
First turn - use spark of life if not using it by auto-cast slot (at first i was using Veil for IA1 coz max manacost and min durability, but when I learned about SoL - swap to it)
Even if SoL triggered twice in a row, even if u need Health potions every turn - do it, not debuff/buff
If u have more than about 60% hp - start debuff, first - sleep, second - silence (weaken needed only below 170 levels, or if u wanna make some missclick later ^^)
First targets for sleep are those who have maximum hp, closer to 50%mp or to 100 %sp or most dangerous, if u see dark mages staying nearby - sleep them first, even if u see one dark mage - sleep him fist coz dark mages are missing caress
If no cool dawn for sleep and no need in heal - use it even if everyone sleep
After sleep use silence for those who are going to attack first
One of the worst scenarios, but continue follow the priorities:
SoL - Cure - Sleep - Full Cure - Health Potion - Cure - Silence
After debuff start buff in this order - Haste - Veil - Protection, also can use Absorb, if got Channeling and someone without debuff u can use Regen otherwise use Heartseeker for damage
After all debuff and buff u can do anything with them - hugging the one with silence..
For example start can be easy like this: Spark - Sleep - Silence - Cure - Haste - Veil - Protection - Absorb - Silence - Sleep..
112 15 Black Mo 000 dropped [Average Plate Helmet of Warding]
112 14 Fibre16 dropped [Exquisite Cobalt Leather Boots of Protection]
112 13 Kurotake Rui dropped [Heroic Mana Potion]
112 12 Sick In 40 dropped [Heroic Mana Potion]
112 11 Hawk dropped [Heroic Health Potion]
112 10 What I Fear dropped [Superior Shortsword of Slaughter]
112 9 Bone Vampire dropped [Heroic Mana Potion]
112 8 I Do Not Fear Soul dropped [Greater Health Potion]
112 7 Pandemoniumoon dropped [Heroic Mana Potion]
112 6 Lance007 dropped [Heroic Mana Potion]
112 5 You are Victorious!
So hard to explain fifty seconds of actions..
So the key for winning one pfudor round vs 10 pokemons are not damage, not equipment but deprecating abilities
In most cases it takes 2 minutes and one mana potion and gives 140x exp for one round on Normal vs same pokemons what is equal about 40 real rounds of Arena on Hell
If someone with good english fix this wall and add about different weapon styles maybe it can be good for new players
Sry, my head ached but I did not go to sleep so now u read this words of nothing ^^
