Most higher level players don't use it when using 1h+shield because you don't get to counter attack on an evade.

There's still quite a number of DW players, though ethereal club is more preferred (and cost 3-5x more than hallowed/demonic counterpart).

Also 1H doesn't counter on evade (this is why light is not good for 1H), it counters only on parry and block

HEARTH WARMING LANTERN

by achieving Crystarium 3

but i haven't recieve any since i got the perks (crystarium3), Is that Artifact no longer gifted if anybody achieve Crystarium3?

Or should i mail TENBORO for this problem?

it sounds like a retired artifact given for 2012 Christimas, so it could be merely a coincidence. when did he recieve it?

I think your friend is wrong. That artifact a gift handed out only during Xmas 2012.

So I have a PL368 monster, fully chaosed and since I won't be playing HV for probably a month, I'm thinking on spending my remaining 800k on crystals.

Is this enough to get it to give me a daily gift?
Should I go for crystal packs or primary or elemental packs only?

given by your evade i think you should have a full fleet/shadowdancer set, so i'd only suggest you to augment your DEX and AGI to the point they will be more similar to STR and END: they're not so unuseful, you know biggrin.gif

One more thing, i tried switching to 2h a few days ago bc it clears mobs faster. But i couldn't. It took me much longer than dw. Any tips? Does 2h work with shade/leather?

When you say "not playing HV", you'll need to still keep logging in and feeding the monster as well as dosing it with happy pills to keep receiving gifts.

800k is really pushing it to get daily gifts... my monsters are at around PL600 and every single upgrade is now 3.5 to 8k of crystals. They don't gift me daily :/ I honestly don't know how much it cost to get them to this level I just bought crystal packs as and when.

My 2H clears slower than my 1H... I think it's been nerfed at some point. Your best bet is probably to contact Aria (look in WTS for her current auction) and ake her as the others tend to have minimum quality limits and I don't know where your club would fit. You could also try GC as he's the next step up from Aria. I doubt any of the others would be interested. Personally I run a shade set and I keep my agaility the highest out of all stats to max the evade. Endurance, Strength and Dexterity are equal and Int/Wis just get enhanced for extra spirit points (they're about 30-40 behind the others)

Yes you can. Either PM them first or moogle the equip directly. However they have right to accept or reject the equip at their own discretion. Players like gc00018 usually take 10% cut of the final bidding price.

Mace is recommended for Light Armor (Shade is a better option than Leather). It's very slow but the T2 skill Rending Blow can proc PA. So make use of OC & fighting skills frequently.

I vaguely remembered one post in the Ponyverse Chat describing Mage as Glass Cannon - high damage output but very fragile. 1H is the most defensive style and DW generally has higher damage output than 2H.

Just get 8 crystal packs. That's enough for PL 600~700. Fully upgrade the gift chance and you should have daily gift.

2h works pretty good with shade/leather. some people recommend 2H mace + shade set, because it's safe (stun + evade). However, it's slow...maybe a bit faster than DW on non-SG runs.

iirc, my old 2H mace + shade is able to clear The Trio and the Tree on Nintendo for ~30-40 mins. or you could join the 1H team like some of us. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

currently clearing The Trio and the Tree on IWTBH ~30mins. still pretty slow, but a lot faster than 2H.

light armor is typically centered around dodging and avoiding attacks instead of tanking. it's ussually best when comboed with dual wield. i can send you some low level 1 handed weapons if you want to give duel wield a shot. also, heavy armor is typically better for defense then light.

also, what armor exactly are you using?

Have you been throwing Imperil in? I've noticed a 25-50% faster kill speed on imperiled monsters, myself (as in, ~1/3 less hits required to kill).

Hey, what kind of levels of Scavenger, Luck of the Draw and Quartermaster should I have?

Or what should I train it to?

If you can't give numbers for this then what kind of ratios should I have on them?

-a good way to divide up stats is: STR = DEX = AGI = END > WIS=STR-10 > INT=STR-100.
-consider switching to mace when you feel the mobs getting tougher in ~100 levels
-your armor should consist of as many pieces of sup+ leather of protection or dampening as it can until you can afford to switch to shade; 2H shade is bomb imo
-search WTS for free shops and cheap leather if you want better stuff. be sure to read their rules

Not really, nowadays, light is generally better for defense with evade, resist, and attack speed as defense stats. Heavy armor just offers PMI/MMI.

Attack speed is the most effective defensive stats since it lowers both the rate monster attack, and the rate monster generate MP/SP

And on high difficulty, you will need to keep Haste/SV/Protection/Spirit Shield up all the time, so Interference should be taken into account
