QUOTE(Colman @ Feb 23 2014, 10:52) Cotton are more or less just for recycle. The only exception is the top tie holy/dark proficiency one. Leather was bad before, and not so bad now after some buff to leather and nerf to plate. But plate is still more popular.
So, plate > leather >> cotton in pricing.
Got any tips on pricing equipment while trying to set up a shop? I see very big variations from shop to shop.

You can use the weekly auction as reference. Then give some mark up, perhaps 20%. If you cannot find some type of gears in the auctions, they are probably 1. too rare so the owner do not want to sell cheap. 2. too bad that no one even want to buy it with the starting bid. BTW, it seem the price of energy drink is keep raising now. However, I do not have large stock. QUOTE(blueeyedcolossus @ Feb 23 2014, 09:44) I know what you guys are saying but you misunderstood me.
What I'm saying is that the defensive buff from SoL was shorter for me this time when it was reapplied by another SoL before the last one wore off. I know how it's supposed to work, but I didn't know that if you get Cloak of the Fallen again it can wear off when the original cloak should have worn off when it gets reprocced.
Also Spirit Shield seems to do absolutely nothing for me. Only times it ever goes off is when I get one shot anyway.
it will become useful at level 285 when stronger spirit maxes out. you won't be able to play without it on PFUDOR/IWBTH by level 300.

QUOTE(malkatmp @ Feb 23 2014, 15:33) wait, you could silence/weaken/slow more than 1 target? do i need really high proficiency for that (ie 200+?)
as Owyn said, the number of mobs affected is due to slotted abilities; at their maximum level every debuff minus Drain affect 3 mobs per turn, as reported in wiki

Hey, I am a fairly lurking person around the forums and in the game. But I noticed that apparently there is player run shops, any link to those shops and am I right to assume they work by way of message service and trust?

Ask for CoD if you do not trust them.

QUOTE(Scremaz @ Feb 23 2014, 06:19) i use them also on every RE in which there are 9 or 10 mobs: first haste, then silence on first three, slow on other three, weaken on other two... this way i have to deal only with two mobs at time

Yes, unlike when you recast a buff like Protection, the Cloak of the Fallen buff's duration is not refreshed if it occurs again during the original casting period. See the WTS sub-section of this forum area. Look for the shops that say "free gear to players" some are for players <200, some for players <150.

i know you like it but i'm fed up of a spell that at random intervals let the mob wake up and SP you, too few control (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) maybe when i'll have a ten of AP to invest on it i'll retry it, but for now all those others will be enough i was thinking about gaining ragnarok instead... [edit] what does it mean that Cure is available at prof 0/385+? that it's a base spell but i can't use it anymore at level 385? This post has been edited by Scremaz: Feb 24 2014, 00:13

Must be somewhere in the wiki: the spell "damage" bonus for the spell starting prof 385+ reaches a maximum. The second proficiency indicated for each spell is the one that give the maximum bonus (needs confirmation)

There is minimal risk in buying from any store because you could only be cheated once. Once you prove that a merchant has cheated you out of your credits, he or she will be banned from HV for life. No one in their right mind would take that sort of risk for a handful of credits.

^I've seen real money-trading communities with twenty times as much fraud as HV WTS has. It is unimaginably safe.

So true! You cannot do without SS if you have any aspirations of clearing the School Girls Arena (aka the Marathon) in BT and higher difficulties.

I only have trouble with Sleep when I'm using 2h and one of the sleepers gets too much splash damage.

Am i doing this right? Usually i prefer to use my 2H weapon because i love the Stun effect. Lately i was trying to use the DW set up and its seems pretty cool. I fight on Grindfest in IWBTH mode. How can i improve my style of play? Do i need to change my equipment? Something else? Equipment: 2H Weapon1H main1H 2ndHelmetArmorLegginsGauntletsBoots Thanks you very much!

so with DW it should still be worth it... mmm... and what about confuse, since they share the same ability? never tried it? you wrote basically the same thing (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif) however i'm sure that the first number is the proficiency level at which that spell become usable, if the second is really what you said... gosh! don't know if it's me but i see DW better paired with light armor... however you should try to lower your burden under 70 not to kill your crit chance This post has been edited by Scremaz: Feb 24 2014, 02:21

Never tried confuse, myself. But then again, my Depricating prof is pretty low.
