I've found good luck with Shade Arcanist, actually. Usually cheap, often good PABs & decent damage.

arcanist is for magician type am i right?? i'm dual wielding user (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/anime_cry.gif) I take a stroll to some WTS shop and i have found something and i got some question.. shade physical mit much lower from leather (even the shade protect one(from my tour)).. what do people expect from a shade equipment?? or shade is a special for anti magic??since the resist level is high.. (sorry my bad english lol)

Has the number of actions per turn been changed? I cast Weaken as a mandatory debuff before the start of any battle (bigger or stronger mobs) and lately I am seeing Weaken dissipate before I finish the mob off. Just now against a mob of 8 in RE (an average strength mob)in PFUDOR, Weaken was on the verge of dissipating when I got to the last monster.

In order to wear Shade and take advantage of the extra attacking power, you have to have a deep HP tank - essentially expect to get hit hard and get hit lots. Imo, you can still hold off on migrating to Shade for a good while yet and when you do, start replacing them one piece at a time to get acclimatized and to keep some coins in your purse. So, triple taps, almost a certain death for mage such as myself... Anything I can do? I already have 369 +133 +8 agi. Should I look for full set of +agi phase? Will that even accomplish anything?

In PFUDOR, monsters get a speed bonus. The bonus meant to be monsters' only was incorrectly applied to players as well. The fix removed the bonus for players, so after the fix, PFUDOR monsters get their turns a lot earlier than how it used to be. The duration of your Weaken on mobs has been apparently reduced is because of that.

I posted on this thread earlier this week when I was level 22. I followed some lovely advice by "Drakewyn" and "LOL50015" Now I am level 77 with full exquisite heavy armor set from the help of "xtech22" "eleeinos" "avalhcz" "Dreamphobia" and "Arialinnoc" Oh and I'm swinging a superior ethereal mace of balance.
The community is great, much kudos to "xtech22" "eleeinos" for moogle mailing lots of info. Everyones been telling me to level up. I'm getting high up there. Almost out of the free gears/pots range 150+ (By the way anything I should take advantage of? - I kinda stopped looking around after the exquisite heavy arm, and mace. Oh and heroic pots.)
I figured with my current armor and weapon I'm solid. But things are starting to drag now. P: And I'm curious on how to get better gear. How else can I improve my stats? Also, what is the best difficulty to play on? Currently on hell/nintendo since it doesn't have that red bar for enemies. But do I need to keep it on that difficulty for fighting arena? It doesn't matter if it's on normal or hell for finishing previous arena rounds does it?
Lately that's all I've been doing. Smacking things in Arena and Grindfest. But it's getting boring, doing the grind. I spent one token on unlocking a monster in the monster lab. P: Advice on that? Which monster type I should pick etc?
I've been leveling my abilities properly and training. I don't use the shop/bazaar/auto shop at all. Since I have the things I need pretty much. What else should I be focusing on? (Edit: Now that I'm a higher level, other than continuing to grind, what else should I delve into?)

So many questions, and ps. Do I need a pretty decked out computer to participate in H@H? I haven't done anything yet, just looked at wiki and the site itself.. It looks intimidating. I hear people make lots and lots of credits on it though. I'm interested. P: Will it drain my computer?

More Agility is always helpful because it affects your Physical Mitigation and Evade, but it does not affect your Casting Speed. What are you doing there, anyway? 93 turns against player monsters is odd.

I tend to finish halfhourlies by whacking monsters, to regen my mana for next one through ether drain, and to keep my staff up to date, that pads turn count. I don't really play anything other than pfudor re.

I see, the fix is the reduction in spell durations, bummer. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) Oh well, recasting the spell twice for harder and larger mobs will now become a routine then. Thanks,

Shade Arcanist isn't for mages specifically... it's just more likely to have +wis & +int, not quite as good mitigations & evade, but better resist (only Negation is better there) and no interference. So, not only will your mana pool be bigger, your spell costs will be lower. Plus, like with this piece: http://hentaiverse.org/pages/showequip.php...;key=1b751e4346 I often see pretty good Attack Damage scores with Arcanist.

Both Leather and Shade are classified as Light Armour, so they can be mixed together and still get the equipment bonus. I understand the theory but when you do get hit while wearing Shade for the first time the amount of damage can be devastating. I had Leg Leather kit when I started thinking of migrating to Shade and I had the good fortune to have a complete Exq Fleet set loaned to me. The Shade definitely increased my attack but the loss in HP, PMI was far greater and got me killed pretty quickly trying to clear the Arenas I had routinely cleared while wearing Leather. The solution is to migrate one piece at a time giving yourself plenty of time to adjust to the changes in the players characteristics.

i think the benefit of Shade is 0 Burden & attack damage bonus. that way you'll get more evade & speed bonus & kill things faster.
