hey guys.. any Niten user here who has dark strikes on Kata+Waki & can tell me if its worth to train Dark Imperil ? I think it is meant for mages ..but when the DMG output for melee weaps rise enoth ..

well, I use holy imperil on spagetthi guy and it increases my holy strike damage

just get much ability points and increase everything you can - it's not that much credits anyway.

have 84/345 Ability Boost trained & first Dark Imperil cost 2AP dont know how mutch i need for the 4 aviable @ my Lvl. !
but gaining em through Lvl. Up is not even worth considering .. im not rly rich too ^^ Credits = AP ^^

And all the AP i have are just enough for Light / DW / 2H and any needed supportiv & deprecating spells !

well, at this point i suppose you can just try by temporarily subtracting some AP to any other ability and after that decide yourself if it's worthy or not then: there will surely be an ability that isn't SO necessary to your play (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

I'm 1h user, and sometimes use demonic kanata + ethereal waki against SG of marathon for fun. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/smile.gif).
It may depend on where you're fighting, because dark imperil is useless to SG. (Kotana has low HP, so does not matter)
And IMO there's no need to use Imperil except SG or monsters who have much HP like FSM.

@Scremaz: QM and Archeologist probably beat LOTD in your situation(assuming you don't do mostly at least BT+, especially on the highest challenges) though - a good drop doesn't have to be legendary, and LOTD is a multiplier - there has to be something for it to multiply.

basically i've lowered the number of RE (that i do at Hell or Nintendo) and started to do Hard arenas to grind 250 prof in 2H and DW styles without gaining too much EXP. thus i'll restart also with 1H/Heavy; every now and then i do a IWTBH IW, so i suppose is about my situation (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

however the drop rate isn't very high but still acceptable, it's only that the quality is really meh: i agree that i don't need Leg drops, but as for now i don't see even Exq, is it for the low level?

i dont really need the info for SG Marathon ..i run on PFUDOR T&T & the three below for Xp efficiently 1 hour & 20min without forged gear ..GF after that.. here is the prob ..when im over 500 rounds ..some mobs suck my Spirit like **** if i have bad luck 3 of G´s mobs in there -.- maybe darkimperil would bring them down way faster <- thats the reason im asking ^^ btw is your 1h set forged ?

Does the PL of a monster affect the chances of getting a binding from it? So far, I've just been focusing my crystals on 2 monsters and I'm wondering if I should just have an army of low PL monsters instead.

Well... again, IMO there's no need to use Imperil to normal monsters including dark mage series, even on PFUDOR.
If you really want to clear it fast, you may find that even casting deprecating spells is time-wasting.
BTW Niten may be the fastest melee style, but with decent and well-forged equipment.

get "first" as mutch of em as you can ! PL just decides the Lower/Mid/high grade of drops (also the drain of morale ect.)..the best you get from high PL mobs is the +1% lootdrop @ 550+ ..bindings & the most important shade/phazon/destruction/slaughter ect. is a random thing !

haha .. i dont even have Faster Imperil maxed out ^^ every second round.. thats ok ! & look above ..! if i had any AP to spent i would not ask ! ...

I'm not sure exact PL the monster could always get 6 per day,
but my 700-ish monsters always get at least 6 gifts per day with their available Scavenging chaos upgrade maxed, of course.
