QUOTE(Paarfi @ Feb 20 2014, 10:57) If I am not willing to risk/spend time on clearing FSM on IWBTH, should I hold on my blood tokens until I will be able to do so, or equipment drop from RoB is so low in value compared to trophies that may as well clear FSM on Hell ( or Normal)?
Unless you plan on waiting till you level LoTD to 20+ (i would say 24+), it doesn't really matter. The ~55k you get from selling the Noodles is much more useful to you now.

QUOTE(RacerX849 @ Feb 20 2014, 01:34) Thought that evade instead of tanking would be better but I didn't know evade was so tied to stats so it's better left for higher levels. The wiki makes it seem like all builds are equal from the start and it's just a matter of taste.
if you're going to stick with light armor, 2H goes better with leather of protection/dampening; the burden from any non-ethereal 2H weapon hurts the evade bonus from shade too much to make it useful and you won't have enough parry/PMI/MMI to make up for it. this is especially true if you're not using a mace. QUOTE I would look to invest in a heavy 1h if it gave more survivability at higher difficulties than my current build
1H in general gives tons of survivability, but you need 200 1H prof and a good shield before that happens. some shielding plate probably wouldn't hurt either. QUOTE though I've also wondered if the parry bonus from a DW club + rapier build would help a lot.
DW shade works well at pretty much any level, and the parry bonus is pretty nice. i've been DW shade since about level 50 though, so my opinion might be a bit skewed. QUOTE(Paarfi @ Feb 20 2014, 03:57) If I am not willing to risk/spend time on clearing FSM on IWBTH, should I hold on my blood tokens until I will be able to do so, or equipment drop from RoB is so low in value compared to trophies that may as well clear FSM on Hell ( or Normal)?
unless your LOTD is 18+ you probably won't get anything good. do it at the highest difficulty you feel most comfortable at, if only for the extra EXP

imo, i'll just do it for the "Noodly" which can sell for 55-60k credits in WTB. if you factor in other drops, clearing bonus, etc. it's 10 tokens for 62+k credits even on normal. though, anyone got any tips on clearing FSM on Hell+?

I just did it on hell. Magnificent shade of whatever (not even single shadowdancer piece) + ethereal exquisite mace of balance (i.e. crap). Only 1 mana potion used. In short - light armor+mace is probably safest equipment loadout possible. But it's slow.

That's no FSM. That is Triple trio and the tree. And AFAIK it is recommended to only do it once. TT&T gives you 80k of trophies for 10 tokens of blood. FSM gives you 60k of trophies for 5 tokens of blood.

QUOTE(malkatmp @ Feb 20 2014, 11:36) i just did it on Nintendo and now i feel like a dumbass. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif) i did it on normal for the drops/credit bonus and won't do it anymore (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) oh, btw, i did some calculations: it's true that this guy has a 46 and counting evade set and nice armor pieces, but they're also heavily forged: QUOTE My Equips: High Evade Shade set. 46% Evade. Head - Body - Hands - Legs - Feetassuming that in the first levels the contribute of forge could be calculated in a linear way, he would have an evade about as much as ours, or slightly higher; furthermore, three people within a 30ish levels have the same value, so i think that's the max we can have without spending a life-worthing amount of credits... yeh, but i'm about 130 levels lower than you and can guarantee that i've absolutely not that much money to assemble a mag set of 4PABs fleet (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) for now i'm fine with evading one hit out of three (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/happy.gif)
