i think he wanted to know what would happen to this limit cap changing difficulty level: once the cap of 75% is gained on Normal, will it be automatically switched to 25% if i change the difficulty level to Nightmare or will it reamin 75% also in Nightmare? and vice versa

Then, you switch to hard. Your drop rate become 50%. And you can also switch to hell+ to remove the drop penalty.
You can consider there is only one round counter for all difficulty.

just tried hvstat slim,
my problems pretty much solved,awesome! (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

gonna have to adapt with spark of life and channeling alert that keeps appearing,but it's not a big deal,

I have made one script without those alerts. here
BTW, you can turn them off in the "settings"

just trained up Scavenger from 15 to 20. didn't really notice a difference.

so what's the best way to improve drop chance? having lots of 500+ PL monsters?

I am fairly sure one of my critters brought me a pony (Octavia), it happened very early when I was below lv100 and 2 versions ago.

When did Soul Stone become obsolete, I am quite sure I'd read in the wiki it was obsolete and yet I've got one. I would not consciously buy one, I am too much of a tightwad to spend my meagre resources on something like a Soul Stone or any other obsolete trophies.

1. Our memory's more fragile than we thought
2. Nobody else have such an experience, including those with lots of monsters
So you'll need to provide some proof.

I want to re-ask a question: How high should i raise accuracy chaos upgrade? What is the default accuracy of monsters and at what level accuracy upgrade will give 100% accuracy? Will accuracy above 100 grant anti-evade or will it just be wasted?

Has TenB unequivocally ruled out that player created monsters cannot bring ponies as gifts? If so, then I am obviously wrong...

No, I don't have any proof, it was quite a while ago and the pony and I have long since parted ways but that's how I remember it. But then again I could be confusing one event with another... (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

I have a Question for the Experts.
The gear I have now is it good to have and should I start putting time in to doing IW on it?
And I now I need to get a better weapon. But I want to try and get something that’s the same as the one I’m using. Can u please tell me what it’s called if u now. So I can look for it.

if you could finish IWing the weapon that would be great - void damage is like 200% better than any other (weapon gets it at level 10)

also the leggings, that 3PABs make you lose about 25 DEX points compared to the other armors you got...

Hi everyone.


I have an issue about IW.

I use the following stuff:
Magnificent Ethereal Katana Of Slaughter

Shade hemlet of negation
Shade Breastplate of negation
Shade gauntlets of negation
Shade leggings of negation
Shade boots of negation

All this give me 49% PhyM, 42%MagM, 29% evade, and 62% resist.
Relevant proficiencies are in the 120-140 range. I have 5.9k HP, 650 MP and 11 battle slots, filled mainly with greater mana pots.
I use the buffs Haste, Protection, Shadow Veil, Regen and Heart Seeker. No Spark because of mana issues, and no debuffs unless I encounter a boss.


I can do a short 40 to 50 IW run in Hell without issue, or a 60 to 70 IW run in Nigthmare, but anything above and it get really hairy.


So my question is for those who can do pretty lenghty IW runs at really high difficulty: How do you manage it? Is it something only possible when your stuff is already full of upgrades? Only possible for players lv 300+? Or is the two-hander style less suited to it than playing 1H+shield or caster?

Or maybe I missed something?
