I could've sworn I had more. I originally ran with power armour like 3 years ago but I must've sold the set at one point when I switched over to my current equipment setup.

Shade Fleet vs Shade shadowdancer, which one is better and why? or it really doesn't matter and you can mix& match as long as burden is 0.

Their evade bonus seems to be the same according to the wiki, so Shadowdancer is basically Fleet with critical.

Aren't we all... If you are a Light Armour, sooner or later most migrate to Shade. Having zero burden is good I suppose but I think having higher WD at the base level than your Lv6 Estoc plus two more pab that adds to your defence is worth the trade off of carrying some fat around.

If you want stun, you'll have to switch to a Mace instead of an Estoc. If you'd like to borrow this Vanilla Mace that I acquired some time ago for my eventual 2H proficiency training runs, you are welcome to use it until then. I have only the DwD left to do in PFUDOR before I proceed with the 2H prof training...

Doing RE is not a decent barometer of your fighting prof because it's a single round match where you can throw everything you have at the mob. Back when I started playing RE in IWBTH (now PFUDOR) consistently, I sometimes went through 2 HP, 2 MP to finish the round. The better indicator is your Arena runs because you have to manage your resources much more carefully in order to complete them. I'd be more curious to see what is the highest Arena level you've managed to complete and at what level of difficulty.

from what i can see, zero burden means high evade: as for now, if i've to go with 10 mobs without debuffs i can hope to avoid an average three or four attacks... after that i suppose my character take a punch in the face and got stunned or so, coz it starts to take all (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)
also, i don't know why but a big part of the times i've been beated was because less than 50HP out of 8000... is it normal?

i mainly do arenas for their first credits bonus, so i'm not so interested in improving them so much. furthermore, there's always a shitty mob that lunches a 5k or so attack within the last rounds, or a motherfucker with an 8k when i've 9k HP so i give up (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

thus the main quality(es) of fleet is nothing that shadowdancer couldn't also supply, and fleet is a sort of reduced shadowdancer right?

My 2 cents:

Well, on paper yes but fleet seems to have a higher tendency to get a higher evade roll than SD, from what I see in the shops and auctions

Question: Around what grade of weapon should I have before I really start to invest time and resources into developing? I know pretty much anything under Superior is a waste, and I thought I had a decent Superior shortsword for a while so I did a few upgrades and put some time into Item World, but after seeing some of the equipment other people are rocking, it makes me wonder if I should just save all my Bindings and whatnot until something better comes along. While I do occasionally get Exquisite Shortswords, they're never elemental swords of Slaughter, so I tend to pass those by and keep what I have now, but is this really a good move?

You can easily find an upgrade in any auctions. Your weapon is just not worth IW and forge.

That's bazzaar fodder for me. Even the ethereal sup got sold for cheap (like *insert shame less advertisement* in my shop, or even given out for free. Exquisite ethereal can take a bit of price jump, and you can find a decent one in auction for 30k-300k, depends on what sort of bidder you're going up against.

Don't bother trying to find exquisite- element weapon in shop, people just throw them away :/

And don't bother forging anything that isn't worth at least 1m

I'm kinda reluctant to go for auctions because I keep thinking I need to hold on to my credits for something huge, like a downloading binge or the Gentleman training upgrade.

But when should I actually start investing in upgrading? Just Exquisite, or should I keep holding off until Magnificent/Legendary?

1m? Like 1 million creds? The wiki says selling stuff to the Bazaar gets you 20% of the actual market value, and if that's the case, I don't think I've ever gotten ahold of anything worth more than 20k or so.

For your level, perhaps a lv10 exq ethereal/elemental weapon of slaughter is good enough. Mag+ good weapons are all worth 1M+ each and I don't think you can afford right now.

Check the recent auction and you may be able to get one cheap (100k-)

none of my current equipped gear worth 1M ...... as long as you know what are you doing and you think it worth, just forge it. You can always get 80%+ material back when you salvage the forged equipment.

1 million as in you paid 1m for it whether in shops or auctions

I recommend you get some affordably priced exquisites to make life easier before going for the mags or legs that are worth forging and IWing

The gentleman training is a waste of money

Money is earned to be spent, money won't help you kill monsters, good equips will, so there's no point in hoarding cash.

If you want to download something, it uses GPs first and only credits if there's not enough GPs

And even without any GPs or credits, you can always download through torrents, H@H downloader if you run a H@H client or maybe even use a grabber software or some script to fetch all the pics from the gallery.

For me it's a "throw to wolfgirl" item, but the stats aren't too bad for superior - it must have been really close to exquisite. Sadly, holy mage only really becomes viable past level 310 (the imperil upgrade) and by then people will be looking for exp/mag or higher in their phase :/ It's probably not worth trying to sell in my opinion but you might find a buyer if you're lucky

+1 to wannaf shops. The pricing is pretty close to what I'd be willing to pay.
Azu shop is not very reliable. Some of the pricing there looks reasonable, some look bs. I mean, who the f would pay 200k to buy a mag non-eth non-elem estoc? And no superior power slaughter should be sold for more than 50k.

none of my current equipped gear worth 1M ...... as long as you know what are you doing and you think it worth, just forge it. You can always get 80%+ material back when you salvage the forged equipment.

Let's not forget that when you salvage the forged equipment, you're also losing the equipment. So you don't only lose the 20%, you also lose the equipment. Ideally, you want to be able to resell your gear. And the better the base equip is, the better the forged equip will sell.
