What if I do few IW levels on my armors (with resists), will it make it cost more or less if I decide to sell it later?

2H on SG is slow, period. Estoc is a bit faster, but nowhere as fast as 1H or DW. For me, I've always found 1H to be faster than DW, but some people report that DW is faster, so it's your choice.

Just to let you know, it's extremely easy, and reasonably fast to clear PFUDOR arena with 1H (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)

so what do you use?

1H axe slaughter with shield?

also, what's "reasonably fast"? 30mins?

personally, i've IW all of my current crappy items to LV3. imo, it doesn't take that much time and those stats do stack up nicely. also, those extra bonus HP & MP are great.

though, i'm sure it'll be better to save up and buy better items.

They are not gonna sell well anyway. Just IW them as you like.

The old item lv (not the PxP) is one of the mechanism that keep the gears sell well. As it had gone, player only have to get good gear once, and it can last forever.
So, when you have got you Leg set, a lot of player have already got Mag+ set, so selling old/unused gear is not gonna easy.

also, is there any tricks in speeding up "End of Days" or "Eternal Darkness" runs? they generally take too long (ie ~1hr) and i just end up doing other 2nd page arena fights.

Infusions of Divinity & Darkness will speed things up...

Wanted to farm some 1H and heavy proficiency on last round of The Trio and the Tree arena, but tree dying from Counter-Attacks on 4xxx round, my 1H+heavy set is not that good so Battletoads is the highest i can clear to final round. Any idea how to deal with it?

I clear T&T PFUDOR in 35 mins with 500ms ping.

I'm still on my Exq set (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/cry.gif) . And I'm sure prices blow out of proportion whenever mag power slaughter or leg power anything pops up (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

Also mag+ shade shadowdancer should sell well too. I reckon it wouldn't fall too far behind exq power slaughter in term of clearing speed.

Don't grind profs (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/sleep.gif) They will eventually catch up if you keep using them

The only prof you'd probably need to grind is staff and dep prof.

But I can barely play on IWBTH now, so I thought that the problem is in laking of profs...

Back when I started 1H (~level 310), I couldn't do PFUDOR T&T well yet, but IWBTH is no problem. But in your case, trying to raise both prof at the same time can be tough on IWBTH. Try switching out heavy for your old shades, get 1H to 200+, then put heavy back on.

As far as I remember you are also 1H+full slaughter user, do you remember what was your stats like on ~level 310 when you start 1H?

I used a mag buckler of nimble so my block was even lower (30-ish), my rapier is an eth exq of balance with holy strike, so it's much better than yours. The thing is, my power prof is already over 300, so I have a much easier time surviving. It's really not a good idea to raise prof for 2 things at the same time though. Try 1h+shade, you just might be able to do PFUDOR. Move on to power when your 1H gets to 200+

You could try getting Rapier of nimble. They're not as expensive as rapier of slaughter/balance, and they provide you more defense (parry) that you'd need. The loss in ADB is not that serious, since rapier doesn't give much to begin with (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)

Some Power of warding/Plate of warding could be useful too (preferably the former - I'm not a fan of plate nowadays). They're cheap and give you defense against magic, which is the common weakness of both 1H and heavy. However, only get them when you're running out of spirit pot during arena run, due to spirit shield drain.

Also, make it a habit to always use infusion for IWBTH/PFUDOR run, they're very useful on DW and 1H. Try to match infusion with spike shield
