QUOTE(something @ Feb 1 2014, 00:45) is it me or is your action speed different in PFUDOR?
in PFUDOR i can consistently pull off 2 frenzied blows in spirit stance (t1 t2 t3, turn off stance, attack till cooldown is expired, turn on stance, t3) but always end up being too slow to pull it off in IWBTH. haven't tried this with any other difficulties yet, but probably will.
Yes, the action speed of both player and monsters seems different in only PFUDOR. With Haste, your buffs (enemies' defuffs, too) exactly lasts x2. (x1.5 usual with Haste in any other difficulty) That make PFUDOR somewhat easier one in a certain sense.

I remember seeing many people reported about it in various thread when it just came out; some of which Tenb actually read/post reply and most likely have seen these reports— AFAIK, Tenb made no attempt to respond to any of these reports... There're no mention about such a thing in the change log and it really seem like a bug to me. But seeing that PFUDOR is annoying enough as it is (for non-1H melee, I mean...), I blissfully assumed that maybe it's intended. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/ph34r.gif) Anyway, it would be funny as hell if this situation turn out to be like the old EDB dmg bug debacle. noodle is a trophie... cough you can shrine it for any kind of equip you might want. if you get something usefull might be not the case most of the time (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif) and about shrine or sell, do what you like lol (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/happy.gif)

Should I train Ability Boost further from 121? I already have 37 free ability points and nothing to spend them on.

Typically though you'll get Exquisites at best.

Is that a trick question? (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif) Train Ability Boost if you need Ability Points. If you don't, there is just no point. No pun intended. This post has been edited by Dan31: Jan 31 2014, 23:35

Is there a point where the cost of training Scavenger/Luck of the Draw/Quartermaster/Archaeologist is considered too prohibitive and saving for better gear (ie. better than <100k pieces of Exquisite) is a good idea?
I figured upping those would increase my income from doing daily arenas since I'm not really doing any sort of Grindfest due to not wanting Stamina to drop below 80 but not sure if that's the best "return" on my credits versus maybe saving for better gear and doing runs on a higher difficulty; I'm pretty much doing everything on Hell difficulty at the moment.

LotD should have highest priority, then Quartermaster then Archaeologist. Scavenger is pretty much worthless, so only put credits in it when the cost looks like small change. Only with high LotD (18+) that you will start getting frequent Mag/Leg drop (with 20/25 LoTD , I got like 10 Mags this weeks and 3 legs this month, though most of them are useless except for the one I'm trying to sell in my sig) If time allows you to, you should do arena on BT/IWTBTH/PFUDOR. They give 2x the credit, plus higher quality equipments drop, and a lot more exp, and they're not that slower to clear (for me, PFUDOR run is usual 30% longer than hell run, and considering the benefits, it's a no-brainer) This post has been edited by holy_demon: Feb 1 2014, 06:06

Why would Scavenger be the worthless one? It's the one (and only one) that actually increase your drop chance! Last two level of Archaeologist is simply pointless.

None (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) No trainning can change the blood: chaos ratio.

no, it's a potency: in case of ethereal weapons it would be added a second, ulterior strike, which nature is randomly assigned... your weapon could then hit three times: one for "physical" hit, one for void strike and the third for the newly-gained strike This post has been edited by Scremaz: Feb 1 2014, 14:45

And also you can add another one with infusions, since weapon can have two elemental strikes (void strike doesn't count as elemental strike).
