Honestly, I dunno if it affects anything anymore, but I still gift it for those that I see help ppl, or as a way to say hi when i see someone online i haven't seen in a while. Kinda a tradition for me.

A question about the Ring of Blood: how tough are the early bosses (Konata, Mikuru/Ryouko/Yuki) in comparison to random encounters? I can handle random encounters at my level quite comfortably at Nintendo difficulty and was wondering whether the early Ring of Blood bosses are hard enough to warrant a difficulty drop.

that's a series of fights against the strongest monsters of the game, usually with a few underlings. what you will find in every RoB challenge can be found here: wiki and a short comparison between modes is here: wiki2
if you're interested only in trophies/credits gain you can start at normal difficulty and augment it in a second afford...

Since I only have 2 Tokens at the moment I didn't want to waste them by dying on a difficulty I couldn't handle lol. Guess I'll start on Normal. Thanks.

So, should I do IW? How do you do IW, what are your results? I'm not feeling good about IBTW though

15 min - 560pt - Battletoads - one spark, 1 spirit potion was not enought, run out of spirit at the end, healed much
8 min - 400pt - Nintendo - easy
6 min - 280pt - Hell - they die before stun expires

The quality of the item affects the PL of the monsters, too.

I've heard people saying it's better if you wait for lvl 350 or so and just do IW in PFUDOR difficulty.

And I've heard that PFUDOR gives exactly the same item exp as IWBTH, and that people do on iwbth run in 30 minutes or so (I can make 3+ nintendo runs in that time instead so I'm asking)

from what i've read people usually do IW at the highest difficulty possible they can reliably do, otherwise it's a waste of stamina(even moreso if you die in the last 3 rounds). as far as PFUDOR is concerned, people do that for better drop chance rather than the PXP.

IWBTH IW isn't that much harder than PFUDOR T&T so it's not impossible as long as you've got SS up in the later rounds

*stamina would be back at the morning, and I do all arenas & farmin stuff before sleep, so exp at randoms is not wasted at <80 stam.

is it ok? absolutely. damn near everyone did IW on BT or nintendo before the changes in 0.78
is it optimal? not really, especially when you get ~30% more pxp at BT and ~50% more at IWBTH/PFUDOR for the same amount of stamina.

give IWBTH a shot and see if you can actually complete it. you should get a better idea as to whether going at it higher than nintendo is worth it.

of course, you can just ignore this entire statement if you can afford to buy tons of energy drinks.
