Is there any reason (apart from the slight increase in spirit points) to have a nonzero Intelligence stat if you are not playing as a mage?

Not really, no... But the increase in spirit points is pretty cheap at higher levels. My INT is typically only 90 points lower than my other stats. When it's 16,000,000+ to raise a primary stat, but only ~900,000 to raise Int... it feels good to have "progress". (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

At lower levels, and for melee especially, they are used while in "Spirit Stance". You need at least 50 "Overcharge" built up (which is built up by damaging monsters... parried & evaded attacks give no overcharge). While in "Spirit Stance", you do more damage with your attacks and your spells cost less MP to cast. I'd provide a link to the Wiki page... but I'm terrible at navigating the Wiki. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/heh.gif) i see, thanks for answering. Spirit stance seems to be very useful in battles. I am not sure when Spirit Shield becomes available but it's absolutely essential spell to have (absorb damage at the cost of SP) when fighting hi level mob bosses like the Schoolgirls.

But I'm reasonably happy with my Power set. Once my 1h skill hits 100+, I'm going to switch over to the Power set for 1h.

No it doesn't mean it's good for a helm, it actually means that your piece is bad for a chest (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)

QUOTE(Owyn @ Jan 21 2014, 07:24) Why do people use hp when you can just use heal spell for mp? (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/happy.gif) I keep two hp pots incase I get hit down to extremely low health have used both my heals and a defend won't be enough to save me. QUOTE(holy_demon @ Jan 21 2014, 09:45) At 18/25 LoTD, I'm still getting average xD
I started seeing mags and lots of exq at around 14 LOTD. I probably have to get it much higher to ever see a legendary. Oddly feels like the quality bonus was nerfed a while back. I took Varst's advice and changed and upgraded my staff. I still have a heap of forging to go. I would have preferred a willow staff but shocking willow staffs of destruction cost 4x more. Staff: Uamhasach Diobhail

I've only got 9 LotD... I really do think it's random, since I see exq but almost never a mag.

Tip: it's less your LOTD and more the difficulty you play on. If you do arenas on normal like Ichy you'll never get anything good.

Heh... I was doing Eternal Darkness on Normal, for the trophies, when I got that Legendary drop. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)

So it takes me 1h15 to do Hell D&D on 1H + power slaughter... Is that a normal time for everyone?
