Is there any point to clearing the schoolgirls in difficulty higher than hell? The time it takes to clear get exponentially longer, and drops are pretty much the same, since schoolgirls like to drop their trophies so much. And trophies on hell are the same as trophies on PFUDOR

Sure there's the better arena clear bonus, but spending an extra 1 hour for a most likely shitty drop frankly isn't worth it.

You sure will get a better arena clear bonus, but that spending an extra 1 hour just a most likely shitty drop frankly isn't worth it.

In the current patch, not worth it I think ......, even TTT (RoB) give me superiors.

The easiest way is to clear arena on lowest difficulty. Then move to hellfest.
For better drop, do PF IW/GF.

Also, your monster will be one-shot by mage.

Mage is more common than melee in HV.
One different between mid-level mage and melee is that melee have some chance to clear GF while mage will die somewhere before clearing it.
If you want to have more win, focus on mage should be better.
If you can train your monster to PL1600+, you can ignore my opinion.

I remember Ichy have made a few fully token upgraded low PL monsters. Not sure are they still at low PL now.

Owyn: For low-level badasses, that used to be somewhat annoying, in the sense of "oh drat this thing keeps preventing me from oneshotting all the rounds" But the difference is not huge, since low level monsters can't scale stats very high. Low level meaning around PL200-350. Nowadays, got to double that PL to get "low level".

As for shorting only out of resistance for higher PL monsters, it is doable - resistance doesn't play nearly as major part in PL as stat - expect most of it's appearances are not in the gap of "can face this and not eat-face-monsters" but past the line of "can face everything".

Some mages do that though for their given element though it doesn't really matter much- even PL1200 Daimons need Chaos to make them register.

No, unless you do it (DwD) at max difficulty and with at least 20 LotD. But yes, you are doing it solely for the arena clear bonus. The drops are pretty good though, out of 5 runs (DwD), I've gotten 3 mag, 2 trashy drops (did it with 17-21 LotD). However it takes a really long time to do, so I wouldn't do it every day unless you can cut the time down. For the other 2 sg arenas, I would only do them on PFU if you can clear DwD on PFU so fast that it isn't a chore.

68 is probably way too early.

Your strength will start to scale better as you get higher level and your proficiencies go up. You also get access to better potions, spells (ie. longer durations/stronger effects) not to mention gear.

I think at your level I was getting to like round 30-50 at most before dying.

if you upgrade a monster with only prymary stat crystals - would he pwn everyone? :3 cuz his stats on the same level compared to others (who leveld monsters with res. crystals) would be significally better - a best way to scare\instakill newbs?

Keep in mind that primary crystals increase monsters' PL faster than resistance ones. Besides, unchaosed monsters are swept under the carpet in no time ( if not one shoted ), so if you think about making it strong, chaos it to the max.

And this... chaos token upgrades are actually more valuable than stat upgrades.

If you do not care if the club is not ethereal, this kind of club is common.
This kind of axe also hardly exceed 100k for a non-IWed one in auction.

As for the other... every weapon I've seen in the past few auctions that would be a notable upgrade for me has quickly shot up over 150k. I got lucky and got the Waki for 30k, but as you said it's not very good.

Arenas will get you better drops and, when you're doing second-page arenas, better xp.
Best xp & drops come from random encounters though.

I think at least 270~280+ lvl on normal difficulty, with full potions, decent 1H weapon & gears and some tricky experience of playing.
