To be honest I have no use for it, I just play the lottery for fun XD If it's worth something I miht throw it into one of the weekly auctions

The next best battlecaster suffix I've got has about a 17% mana reduction so I'm actually not sure if the 20% is high or low - that would be the deciding factor in how much it's worth (as well as if two people wanted it lmao) Any thoughts are appreciated

So now I'm stuck with these crappy rapier until a decent one pops up. Assuming I'm gonna put infusion/void shard on them, which one I should use

If you're trying to build up 1H and Dep, I suggest you switch to Heavy armour. Shade is really weak to Pierce and since you get hit a lot more when using 1H+Shield the mitigation is worth it even if you have to downgrade to a Superior set (which should be affordable). If you can get Shielding pieces, the burden won't matter as much since a lot of your damage will come from block. Also, spell proficiencies are based on mana spent, which is normally a lot higher and thus faster when using Heavy.

As for weapon, I'd go with your axe, and you should always use Ethereal not just because of burden but because of Void Strike.

well you're the first to say that. People have said that 1H axe can be good if you combine with RFD or OFC, but the general consensus is that club of slaughter's stun is redundant for 1H. you already got an innate aoe stun

Probably go for the third one if you feel like wasting x2 infusion + void shards.
Or the hallowed one if you only want to waste an infusion.

IMO void shards only really help you against the legendaries when you already have both holy strike + PA. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif)

Holy Kacholy! Those are much better than what I've got. Heck, that club is almost as good as my old Mace (I've got a much better Mace now for 2H use). I'm trying my Waki right now and the extra damage & parry seems to be making up for the stun from my club.

Maybe I should stop spending on my credits on training... I doubt I could afford any of those, given the prices I see in the WTS threads.

For practicing Deprecating proficiency. Plus, it's got good resist without the weaknesses of Negation. Besides, the two Magnificent pieces I bought (rather than the Exq I looted), I got for 10 & 20k.

The prices in WTS threads are generally higher than what you can get in an auction. Of course, you may be unlucky to face off against someone with more money who is looking for the same thing. Though superior these days are trashes, and a lot of decent exquisites got overlooked, so you should keep a close watch on auction threads.

power with 1H is the FoTM now. 1H is not too shabby in both single DPS and AOE department, plus it has loads of block, so you can comfortably wear power slaughter into most arena.

Man, I look at peoples' gear and think I must be doing something wrong... level 272 and I've never even seen a Magnificent, let alone Ethereal prefix or Legendary...

(possibly because I spend all my money on training rather than auctions or WTS, but still)

Well, I started using Mag+ when I was ~LV320. Not everyone here got extra income from H@H, Stars, etc.
