Collectables drop in all difficulties.

Theoretically, you stand an equal (nonzero) chance of getting a peerless equipment from any trophy. I'm pretty sure somebody claimed to have gotten a peerless ethereal axe of slaughter from a random trophy a couple of months back in the equipment thread, but I'm too lazy to search for that atm.

But, peerless roll aside, I don't think there's a cap on any given trophy's quality. The low-value trophies are just exceedingly unlikely to give you anything above exquisite.

Also, I recently received a junk Exq from a MBP tail or a Dalek or one of those Boss class trophies a few days ago. This has only happened once though.

I'm pretty sure somebody claimed to have gotten a peerless ethereal axe of slaughter from a random trophy a couple of months back in the equipment thread, but I'm too lazy to search for that atm.

Might be referring to mine as I did post mine in the shine results thread? Unless an ethereal also appeared later.

I did manage to get a Peerless Hallowed Axe of Slaughter from a school girl trophy but I've chalked it up to complete luck now.

I'm still completely whiffing for legendaries (and at 20/25 LoTD). Haven't gotten one yet... or a 2nd peerless.

The chance is there for trophies. But its like winning a peerless good lottery with a 1k GP investment.

Are the values of the skill damage multiplier accurate anymore? It says that Great Cleave should do half the damage of Vital Strike, but from what I see, it does like 1/4 of Vital Strike

All drops and trophies have technically same maximum quality (1) that can be rolled. However, count the average number of stats that appear on your piece of equipment(Yeah, some have more but quality threshold values are accounted for that). Now take (0.05+0.1) to the power of the number( 0.05 indicating legendary threshold, 0.1 indicating crap loot bonus), then do that with (0.05+0.75) - 0.75 indicating Tenbora's box threshold.

Okay, the picture might be not that bleak actually, but you get the idea.

So, boss class trophy can drop Crude-Exquisite and then peerless, right?

Crude-Legendary, and then Peerless. Iirc People have gotten more than one Mag from them.

Think of the difference between doing arenas on normal, and doing them on PFUDOR.

So, the rank of item dorp is the same for all class of trophy.
