Overriding js is quite annoying, but possible, but in any case SoL provides no HP healing now and costs buttloads of spirit, making it lot more inferior to what it used to be. Healing before you trigger SoL is usually better option.

Doesn't the option "Adjust key event handling not to overrun when an alert is shown" of HVStat pretty much solve that issue? Back when I still use HVStat, I never have that problem, and my internet was pretty laggy.

On other note, if I make a script that shows a confirm box whenever my HP falls below a certain point, and cast cure if I click yes, would that be allowed? (frankly you don't even need the confirm box, but that would certainly be automation)

Useless for me in the old day. I haven't used SoL for a while so I cannot be sure.

I think if you follow one click per action, then it should be alright. But I don't think it is useful. Besides, you need two keys. One for cure, and one for full cure.

it still overruns sometimes, but it gets the job done. saves my ass while sleepwalking through arenas

EDIT: it works fine in scriptish, but if for some reason it doesn't work with greasemonkey erase the space after "var tl = document.getElementById("togpane_log");" in the script. it should work fine after that.

Hi, low-intermediate newbie here (2hand mace / Heavy) and at the point where the advice wiki isn't cutting it.

It took me a few days to get to level 50 then I found the difficulty button and figured out I could set it to battletoads and random battle for a SHIT TON of EXP. I do my daily arenas (normal diff), random battle every 30 min (battletoad), and whatever stamina over 79 is left go to grindfests (Battletoad). My primary goal is quick and efficient accrual of credits/hath/high value items without spending a lot of credits / time on the game (outside of my 30 minute random battles).

I just found the difficulty button and am doing random battles/grindfest on battletoads (anything higher I'm dead meat due to still using superior plate/mace gear at 85)
I went from level 50-90 in no time, but I am worried if this is going to end up crippling me...

I am not getting many crystals, potions, or currency because I only do a few rounds before exhausting my mana pots or getting 1 shot, I am specifically chewing through potions atm... will this end up putting me
in a bad spot somehow or is there an easy way to farm pots/cred/crystals at higher levels?

I am constantly flirting with death in my random encounters/grindfest on battle toads and have even been 1-2 shot before with unlucky crits, lots of monster rounds, and now I have to deal with spirit mobs with the potential to hit me for 70% of my HP.


I am assuming me getting steamrolled stems from my gear (freebie stuff I was lucky enough to get gifted to me and have been using since level 20~) and not my playstyle. I am having to spam cure every turn it's up and this eats up mana.

Typical battle looks like this:

Start of battle
protect -> haste -> regen -> melee for overcharge -> (pot if needed or cure) -> use spirit stance and smack shit -> (heavy cleave bosses)

How do my stats look for a 2h mace/heavy melee? should I be going less int/agi/wis and focus primarily on STR/DEX/END?

What should I be looking for in cheap/effective gear? Exquis+, high range rolls? what prefix/suffix? Still 'of slaughter' weapon and 'of protection' armor?


Are elemental strike weapons (fire, cold, holy, void) universally good or are they double edged swords?

When should I start leveling up gear in the item world?

Is it more efficient to focus on 1 high level monster for bindings/forge mats or lots of lower level ones?

Any general advice?

always do the FSM RoB not matter what because you can sell it to stony or danixx for 50k/5 hath, do others only for first clear and they say levels don't affect the loot you get.

Some people say that leveling too fast is bad, but as long as you don't spend too much on fluff (ie. trainings, hath perks, monster lab), you should be fine, you need to remember to consistently upgrade gear until you get top end (save up 50-100k then buy exq+ gear of protection).

This game is about grinding, playing more almost always beats playing better. Don't worry about pots, eventually you will have too many, spam them as much as possible. If you actually run out, many player's stores have free potions.

When you get Spirit Shield (level 200) and Spark of Life (level 100), the fatality of those attacks will be lower. Also better gear helps

Stats distribution is not important as long as they are balanced . I use (for 2h/1h heavy and DW light):
Str=Dex=End=
Agi-20=Wis-20
=Int-100

So I would put 300Str, 300Dex, 300End, 280Agi, 280Wis, 200Int, then increase every stat by 1 every time I have the exp. But that is mainly for neatness, it really doesn't matter.

Elemental weapons are always better, ethereal is at least better than elemental (in 95% of cases it is significantly better). For Item world, your weapon gets approximately 2% better per level, so you could do a cost benefit analysis of whether it is worth it to you, rule of thumb, exquisite ethereal or better. For armor, don't waste your time (do it when you have all legendary armor).

Don't put in extra money in monster lab until you can spend at least 1 million. Stick with 1 monster until that happens.

I'm doing always 250 (TT&T) every day to maximize loot quality bonus.
But I don't recommend it unless you can earn 10+ ToB every day and your LotD >= 20.

LotD 23/25 here and so far have only got 1 good drop from TTT out of around 40 try.
Good drop mean item that worth 200k +.
