QUOTE(Dan31 @ Jan 7 2014, 15:39) The fastest melee style is probably Estoc + Power. 1H shouldn't be too far behind. (That's mostly a guess.)
(I mostly use Mace + Shade, but I've been training 1H recently. I wish I had a good ethereal rapier of slaughter.)
if your looking for a good ethereal rapier of slaughter the Midnight's shop is probably your best choice, he has a magnificent ethereal rapier of slaughter thats already maxed out to lvl 10. I tried to buy it but the asking price is a million, but he also accepts artifacts, hath and energy drinks in place of credits. hope that helps.

This is like one of those urban legend that everyone talk about, but nobody seem to actually believe it... (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/duck.gif)

It's actually an exquisite one, not a magnificent. Anyway, it's out of my price range, I'm kinda broke right now. Thanks though. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

Having played with both Mace and Estoc with Power, I can say that Mace is pretty much faster than Estoc in anything other than schoolgirl arena. Stun is a very effective counter to parry/evade. The penetration debuff is pretty useless if you can't even hit the mobs in the first place. On other note, after forfeiting yet another IWBTH IW on a mag piece run because I run out of mana pot, I'm seriously considering going to 2H shade or mage. Which set-up do you guys think is more suitable for IW clear?

QUOTE(mustardpie @ Jan 8 2014, 06:32) Infinite spirit stance? What have I been missing out on here? (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif) When you're in Spirit Stance, your Overcharge is descending 10% per turn Normally, when you hit a monster with physical attack, you got about 5-7% Overcharge, and you can only attack once per turn, so you will run out of overcharge and end spirit stance eventually But with One-Hand fighting style, you got to do "counter-attack" - which count the same as normal physical attack and give you extra overcharge - up to 3 times a turn So, if you play OH style and have enough OH proficiencies, a shield with nice block/parry change, you may got the so-call "Infinite spirit stance" everyone talking about (I guess you can do it around level 250+, correct me if I'm wrong)

With close to 40% block and >100 prof. (that's potential 2 counters every turn), you should be able to stay in permanent SS if there is a fair number of mobs every round, like >6 or so. Even if there isn't, you can just turn off SS and attack normally to build up OC to max, then turn on SS again. Believe me, 1H builds up OC extremely fast, so you won't be missing out on too much damage.

I think so if you have some slaughter power armor.

Both are viable but mage will end up a lot more expensive. With the recent changes, even DW clears it quite fast. So I would say stay melee, you'll have a much easier time on high difficulty.

Hi, I just started this minigame and I'm wondering if I can sell my items in the shop for only 1 credit each, because Is not changing no matter what I do...
For example the shop sells a Greater Health Potion for 2134 credits yet I can only sell it to the shop for 1 credit each :|

I guess that rapier is lacking ADB to go light, what would be better suited for 1H Light, a club or an axe?

Greater Health Potions cost 20c each. What you are seeing is the amount of those potions that are available. Check your MoogleMail, I sent you some potions. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/happy.gif)

Go and visit Arialinnoc's Free Store, there you can get some free equipments to get you started but more importantly, you can get 100 HHP, and 50 HMP, free as you need them until you reach Lv200+. The lesser grades of potions that drop, keep them around to fill up your HP, MP and SP tanks before you enter the Arena for another round of grind, that's all they are good for because no one else would want them anyway. Wolfgirl's Free Shop also gives away free equipments as well.

What's a good 2H weapon for power leveling 2H proficiency and that goes well with Shade?
