I've got 1 point in that skill and I've used the spell maybe 3 times. I still have better things to put my AP in then that skill.

Hmmm I'm asking because from what I read Bewilder is much more useful and haven't seen much about usefulness of Confuse.

Save for Bewilder. But even then, you'll only get its real benefit when paired with Absorb.

Absorb + Bewlilder : I guess this is the justification of such combination, right ?

The target is bewildered, making its magical attacks deal less damage and preventing them from being critical strikes.
Absorb :
Critical hits cannot be absorbed.

I prefer Blind. Spark rarely trigger like if you use bewilder+absorb, but it's one less spell to cast, and you take less hits.

No. It's a random number around the cost. Sometimes you'll lose a few MP, sometimes you'll gain a few MP, it has nothing to do with the monster's magic attack.

Semi-useful trick: If you cast Absorb with Channeling, its basically free MP if it manages to catch the attack.

Only mages can "increase" mana using it, because of CM/channeling. Sometimes you even have to recast it because didn't trigger.
Besides you can still cast it with blind, it's not like you can't use it.

Maybe a bit wired question, but what is the best level to switch to Hard difficulty (Grindfeast and IW) ?

Switch time would probably be where you can one shot waves on hard I guess.

when you finish your run and you still have potions left. If you try the next level and cant do it or it takes too long go back to the lower level.
