My set is just a common Leg leather of protection.
It is level dependent because:
1. When your level getting higher, you do not care much above normal attack, while magic attack hurt a lot. So, resist is sometimes more useful than PMI.
2. Evade from primary state, that grow with level, will be eliminated by burden from heavy armor.
3. Light's "Light Speed" is as good as heavy's specific mitigation but require Lv250.

I have just got OFC recently. When I use it with 1/H in hellfest, I found it lower my speed (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/blink.gif). Although it is very powerful, it high OC consumsion will likely make my spirit stance wear off. And charge back the OC take time and I would eat more magic attack during those time.
I would like to know is there any trick to use OFC efficiently, rather than make it only a backup solution when sp run out.

Personally, i use my OFC when there are >6 enemies, especially if they're the more powerful monsters like the giants or In Memory Of. Less time fighting them one at a time means less damage i'll take.

After reading what Colman has typed, I traded in some of my ED for the VV Hath Perk. So far, it makes IWBTH rather painless to play. Highly recommend it once you have a set of gear you intend to forge/IW later.

I'm 1 hander now (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) . Right hand on the mouse and left hand ..... you know (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)
Also, with your fully forged Leg estoc, you do not need more damage. You may find leather of protection good as you do not need to heal often.

For random Leg leather of protection, it is hardly higher than 100k each.
For "Reinforced" or "Agile", it can be much higher. FYI, my leather armor cost me 700k (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/anime_cry.gif)

P.S. If you are in hurry, some shops are selling Leg leather of protection for ~250k each.

Leg Leather has always been way cheaper than any other option out there. (except cotton maybe)

I'd say around 800k will get you a very good near max PMI set of Protection Leather.
Full leg plate can cost up to a few millions without prefixes, if you happen to shoot for Shielding pieces this goes way up.

welcome back. Yeah I think VV really helps. Sometimes after hearing/reading what people have to say and trying stuff out, I have to wonder if we are even playing the same game. Like yesterday, for the heck of it, i tried IW in shade+estoc. Tried nintendo first to test the waters. God that was painful. Couldn't even go 1 turn w/o being put into red past round 60 or so. But then the level difference + VV pretty much makes the difference in HP the obvious denominator. I'm still debating what to prioritize. I'm sitting on a lump of credits. Use it on gear, save a bit more for crys2 or get VV. *sigh* if only i had 10million c to negate any such need for decision.

OFC makes me clear +5~10% faster when doing Hellfest, and +10~20% when doing IW (on IWBTH or PFUDOR). (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

On Hellfest, yes, it's not significantly efficient because HP of hell monsters is not that high.
My tactics is just simple:
1. Attack enemies with infinite spirit stance
2. round 100 (for example): Turn off the spirit stance and gather overcharge. Usually you can sufficiently gather 200 overcharge when there are 4~5 enemies.
3. Use OFC on round 101
4. Attack 2~3 times to gather 50 overcharge on round 102. Now infinite spirit stance time again!
5. Turn off the spirit stance and gather overcharge on round 104 when there are 4~5 enemies.
6. Use OFC on round 105
...
You can use OFC every 4 rounds. The only loss is done at step 2 and 4 that turning off SS.
Roughly clear time:
round 98: 7 sec
round 99: 7 sec
round 100: 9 sec
round 101: 2 sec
round 102: 7 sec
round 103: 7 sec
round 104: 9 sec
round 105: 2 sec
(The exact time and the number of monsters that you start to turn off SS depend on ping and AD.)

OFC will not help you very much if you can clear a round of hellfest on ~6 sec on average. Becuase turning on/off spirit stance takes a short time and it would bother you, and using OFC also take a short time.
Alternative way is that not turn off SS, and use OFC when overcharge is naturally full. It takes 10~15 rounds on average, but has no loss in this way after all.

On the other hand, I found OFC is really helpful on IW and some arenas.
You can use OFC every 3 rounds when doing IW like this:
round 50: 15~20 sec
round 51: 20~25 sec
round 52: 3 sec
round 53: 15~20 sec
round 54: 20~25 sec
round 55: 3 sec

My AD is about 6700, and OFC can one-shot most normal monsters with Spirit Stance on IWBTH/PFUDOR.
Kodou Yuki and some monsters, especially high PL giants survive with 20~30% HP.

1x Six-Lock Box (unique trophy)
3x Stocking Stuffers (trophy)

what should I do with those? are those usefull like ponies and I should keep em? or should I just sacrifice em?

Does anybody know how many crystal packs it would take to get a monster to PL 400 and PL 499 from scratch?
