QUOTE(happy.forum @ Dec 26 2013, 08:29) That Leg Eth Rapier of Slaughter is a dream for 1-H players. A lot of the people pouring GP into that drawing play a 1-H style.
hehehe... hentai... 1-H style... hehehe
True that. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) CODE 5th Prize: 5% of final pot Winner: Kagoromo
I'm feeling lucky! ...Not. I would rather have rapier than get back 4 times the amount of GP I invested. Damn it. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif)

QUOTE(zeadragon @ Dec 26 2013, 11:40)  Can anyone calculate this? Block = 1 - (1 - equip_bonus) * (1 - prof_bonus?)
i don't understand about equip_bonus, prof_bonus?
if i have shield 25%blk and other 5 armor parts have 5%blk each
what is the equip_bonus?
if i have lv 100 and 100 poficiency what is the prof_bonus?
Equip_bonus is that the total block chance from your whole equipment including shields and shielding gears. If you have 25% block from shield and 5% block each from 5 parts, equip_bonus is: 1 - (1 - 0.25) * (1 - 0.05)^5 = 0.419664296875. About 41.97%. And prof_bonus is from your related proficiency and ability. 1H prof and 1H Block ability in case of block. You can not get prof_bonus if your level is 100 because 1H Block is enabled at level 250. 1H Block gives 0.025 per 1H prof, so level 300 user with 1H prof 300 will gain 7.5% block. Club/Rapier. Also, if you want to do it in a higher difficulty like BT, IWBTH or PF, Rapier/Rapier is also good.

Is upgrades add 1% per lv? from base status?
for example, base status 10@lv0 --> 12.5@lv25 ?

out of curiousity, is IWBTH/PFUDOR IW still the toughest thing in HV or is it significantly easier now? i remember people saying you shouldn't even attempt it pre-300 or you'd just get embarrassed, but now i kinda want to give it a shot QUOTE(zeadragon @ Dec 26 2013, 08:52) Is upgrades add 1% per lv? from base status?

according to skillchip, 1.675x for ADB and MDB and 1.35x for everything else. i think.

If you're talking about forge, upgrades are added to the base stats, but upgrades are not one percent, they use to be but now it is something higher which has diminishing returns for each upgrade.

Can you give me an example?

Well, something mentioned the amount there...but for example, if you were upgrading ADB, the first upgrade would be 1.675, but the second upgrade would give 1.6, etc. Now remember, I don't know the actual numbers, this was just an example! Actual example: QUOTE(etothex @ Dec 16 2013, 15:08) no it's not. don't think you'd even be able to get the evade to sup max w/ forging. Log curve = high diminishing returns. Save your shade fragments.
But if you're really okay with salvaging it later and only getting 80% back you can do it though.
check out the fallout after only 6 barrier upgrades on my mag buckler 26.93 base block +1 = 27.42 +2 = 27.88 +3 = 28.29 +4 = 28.68 +5 = 29.03 +6 = 29.36

It's a unique trophy given as a gift by TenB. The Bazaar says it's selling price is 2000 credit. So most probably it has x5 tier multiplier (Likely the same as Noodle). And you already know what one single noodle shrining will give you. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) You can only get more of it by buying from other players. I'll hang on to it. The special trophies are more of a collectible anyway. Except for some with high quality bonuses, like Tenbora's box.
