QUOTE(kuro009 @ Dec 6 2013, 18:40) I also need some more info: 1. For Power, which Prefix (Mithril or Savage) and Suffix (Slaughter or Balance) would be better? 2. For Plate, which Suffix (Protection or Warding) would be better? Okay. I guess I'll find it myself with some experiments. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) Savage: mithril is barely worth it, they somehow almost always roll with bad interference/burden stats. Slaughter for speed, Balance for crit centered builds. It's alright if you have accuracy problems, otherwise slaughter is preferred. For regular monster rounds/grindfest Protection, for marathons grab one or two warding aswell.

QUOTE(Laboq @ Dec 6 2013, 19:35) Buckler of the Barrier has min B/I values, but its base block chance is lower than Tower's. It's up to you to decide. *scratches head* what is the approximate Max Block Chance that can be achieved from a Buckler (Taking Forging into account)? Okay. Then Mithil is out of my equation. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/duck.gif) Does the performance of Balance and Slaughter vary very much?

I know when you think you've figured out something about how the game works: CODE Neo: It's strange... the code is somehow different.

This may be an insider secret but does anyone know exactly how the exchange mechanics work?
Say person A has a stack of 100gp listed at a given price. B adds his own 100 to the stack. It looks like any purchased gp is taken completely from A's stack before B's. Given this, say there is a stack of 100A, 100B, and 100C, in that order. If B were to add 100 more, does it get added to his original stack, placed at the top of the stack as a separate entry, or remove his initial stack and the new total get added to the top, dropping C down into B's former position?

QUOTE(Laboq @ Dec 7 2013, 00:57) This may be more appropriate to answered by someone who switched from blucket to force shield recently. For me, mp is not a problem at all. On the other hand, burden a problem.

QUOTE(Laboq @ Dec 7 2013, 02:50) umm...Okay, I'll decide on a Shield depending on which armor I end up using. Thanks for the info. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) Now about Weapons. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/happy.gif) Ethereal is obviously the choice. But Which one is better overall for 1H-Style? Axe, Club, Rapier, Shortsword or Wakizashi? This post has been edited by kuro009: Dec 7 2013, 06:25

Does Penetrated Armor Proc of Rapier speeds up gameplay a bit for 1H? Or should I focus on the ADB more? (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)

(IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif) It depends on how many hit you need to kill one target. If 4 or less hits in average, axe is better. Do not forget the counter's opponent are not likely PAed.

Guess I'll be doing some experiments on that before finalizing a weapon, then. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)

>blucket >bucket (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) Anyway, as "someone who switched from buckler to force shield recently", I think the huge added block chance is worth the extra mp cost. Higher block helps with both my offense and defense, and I can always feather the force shield for long IW / Hellfest. Also, force shield's innate high block chance writes off the need for "of the Barrier" suffix and makes other useful suffices available. "of Protection" and "of Warding" are particularly of interest. Hi everyone, I just got my first Mag drop and was wondering how much it might be worth: Magnificent Katalox Staff of HeimdallMagic Damage and Accuracy seem to be max. Edit: I'm dumb and checked around. This post has been edited by happy.forum: Dec 7 2013, 09:12

Well, it's used to be that people with less than ideal ping (i.e ez 4 turns per sec) would choose either mage or 2H as their play style. Seeing how 1H has started to be used despite that just makes me feel all fuzzy inside. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/wub.gif)
