QUOTE(asd30302010 @ Nov 9 2013, 22:39) how to beat the real life as magic based character?
i got 99.2% dark dmg bonus and 89.1% fire dmg bonus equips both int and wis are around 200~230
but i cant beat the real life coz its fully immuned to magic dmg...
need some tips to beat it please
imperil will increase your dmg on him, weaken and slow will help you survive, otherwise just keep spark of life and protection up and go slow for a few hundred turns. ... I can't even IW my own items at hell at this level (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/sad.gif). mages are so squishy and evade is so random :\ This post has been edited by hihohahi: Nov 10 2013, 07:15

QUOTE(blue penguin @ Nov 9 2013, 18:03) Fuck... it's true! Just tested and that's the way the forge works for rare equips.
I used the forge wrong way all this time. That's what you get from not reading the wiki with atention.
I did not know this either but I don't see how you could forge the 'wrong way'. According to Mantra's explanation, the number of Shade fragments in a gear equals the highest level forged of any given potency. The picture is a lot clearer on forging Shade gear but I think I'd be better off just unlocking the potency first before attempting to forge any of them.

umm Hello Guys!! I just started playing this game and after looking at the wiki I cant seem to decide what is better between being a mage and a melee character for a beginner. so I just want to ask what is a good starting class as a beginner and some tips about that class like ability points etc. THANKS!!

QUOTE(LOL50015 @ Nov 9 2013, 19:36) I was kind of wondering:
Lvl. 300 ++ people, what is your main source of income? (Money from Dawn Day notwithstanding)
At this level you would have claimed all rewards on blood ring and arena. So I'm curious.
apparently lv doesnt matter since i still have 0 credits and in debt to blue penguin and varst atm... (considering I'm one of the lv 300 people (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) ) our (or at least my) income comes from monster credit drops and selling trash gears to bazaar and WTS forge materials that monsters bring (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)

I strongly recommend you to play try both for few levels by demanding gears from the free shops (e.g. wolfgirls shop). personally i think melee is better till lv 200 or until you have the complete gear sets, since melees generally work well with any sort of equips and they are still able to finish all arenas in pfudor (all styles except bare-handed). Mage needs more strict gameplay and you have to be rich to have the complete sets of equipment edit: I should just shut the fu** up.. I'm keep double posting without realising it... edit 2 : I'm seeing this http://hentaiverse.org/pages/showequip.php...;key=27d648f9c7 at bazaar and im quite astonished how it has better stats than my exq one This post has been edited by cruelsion: Nov 10 2013, 11:11

As you get higher in level, you get to clear more arenas daily, at higher difficulties, and get better equips. All that means more credits, plus as you get better gear you can finish things faster, even more credits.

What works for me to be able to afford the 1m plus pieces is that I resell, and have constant income in the form of h@h.
You accumulate money as you level, your investment in things like previous equipment sets can be refunded in a sense by resale. That is as long as you dont dump them all into sinks (e.g. lottery, training, hath perks, downloading costs etc.)
Whereas constant income is equally important. Finishing most arenas at Iwbth at lv250 or higher at least nets 100k c. Im a lazy ass so I have h@h on 24hrs, making 9~hath per day @10kc/hath.
p.s. Im not advocating against trainings and such, but they have obvious requirements of effort required to bring back what you invested, a balance has to be struck as I dont assume every person reading this is a hard working grinder.

QUOTE(x3n0 @ Nov 10 2013, 22:14) I would love to help pricing but those weapons are... priceless... I didn't intend any offense regarding this reply, but I could just say max level them and get good potency and think about selling, otherwise they are good salvageable gears for mats

Ok so I've tried out niten style and I got to say I love it.
However it needs both 2h and DW proficiency.
How many prof for both skill do I need before I can go Niten?

QUOTE(nobody_xxx @ Nov 11 2013, 00:13) only the first one is good (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) Mace is good too, but none of them in my opinions are auctionable. I'm speaking in customer's view ofc, I'm not an expert yet (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) Those weapons are usable, if good potencies like fatality and butcher, overpower(for 2h) are unlocked, but won't get good prices in market... if ethereal, due to their good dmg I think they would have been a very nice wanted weapons (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

I just saw you question, sorry for missing out (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) I don't know much about potency, so checking the wiki would be nice for what you would like for your play style, for example, over-power for one-handed is the worst possible potency ever since 1h has built-in overpower mechanism, but would be nice to have if you have problem with monsters' parry. I heard, generally for 2-handed, fatality>butcher>others(note that no more bonus stats as potency with the recent patch ^^)
