To be honest, I think the description for focus is not clear enough
I did not know it healed mp until lvl100

But it doesn't heal much 5% per 25 OC. Which means 30% max.

Damn I'm addicted to posting here which I'm trying to stop because I know I'll get annoying at some point, eventually.

Defeated? Unless I stop looking at the screen at all and let silence and spark fall I wont be defeated. Basic FSM damage is completely covered by Regen, my hp wont even drop to half. Special attacks are different case though, surviving Puff of Logic for me is impossible, but then, there is silence, if silence failed, you try to sleep FSM, if all failed, there are spark and spirit shield spells.
Is it really worth it? Very likely it is not, but its hard to tell. I am very interested in what are modifiers for Arena Clear Bonus drops, like how much affected by difficulty, LoTD, Challenge num, etc. Still doing that on Pfudor just hoping for something (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/dry.gif)
Training, ugh. My normal, non FSM strategy, is to cycle through all 4 tier3 spells and throw whatever forbidden and divine after, while waiting cooldown on elemental. Its not very efficient, but gets me some proficiency in 2 other magics normally. Someday i will even reach paradise and ragnarok (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) Also, I havent come clear if there is need for me to switch equip into divine for FSM. My divine set is not great quality, and with proficiency differences, t3 elemental spells in elemental do about same damage to FSM as t2-t1 divine spells, or rather, even higher when unresisted.

Very unlikely? So I may try pfudor once, but most of the time I will do normal or hard just for the trophy. Thanks. Modifiers have disappointing effects most of the time, but better than none.
Same feeling for the cycling, and true for the gears too.

I feel like focus is free time hobby, as you need many hits to fill up the overchange, and you need an environment of a single sleeping mob to spend a few turns restoring less than half of your mp. It is a hobby. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)

If you are playing on normal, you wont see any shards drop. Also there are drop limits, if you are playing A LOT of rounds. Thats probably case why people doing Grindfest on difficulty not lower than hell.
Edit: Wiki says only Aether, Amnesia and Voidseeker dont drop on normal. Seems featherweight still drops.

This is more of a WTS question, but basically I always see power armor being sold, slaughter and protection, sometimes even warding, but never balance, do ppl find no value in selling or just want to keep that for themselves?

You need to meet both level requirement and minimum proficiency. Look wiki, spells page.

Not every information is correct, if you see the ?, it's probably just a tip or an old information. If you don't have the blind on 25 prof, than ask again.

Balance just isn't very popular. Most of the time accuracy isn't that big a problem, the crit bonus isn't that large and it simply doesn't add as much offensive or defensive power as Slaughter, Protection and Warding do.

I get some of those points but how is balance below warding? now that doesn't make sense to me.

It is important to understand that building your very best heavy armor is an art...not a science. Probably one of the most interesting gear optimization challenges that a melee faces. There are a lot of variables, and the weapons you own and fighting style you prefer have a big part to play too. Slaughter and protection power are universally desired for their obvious attributes in key stats...but some players covet balance...or even warding...because it suits their exact needs. Warding increases magical mitigation, and I am sure you can think of some battle scenarios where you wish you had better numbers in that area.

As for the WTS shops, I expect that Slaughter and Power dominate because they are the universally useable (and sellable) items. Balance can be found too, but some players will automatically Bazaar it, and not even try to sell it, because they have been conditioned by their own experience and/or the advice of the community that it is sub-par gear. Similar for Warding...if you see more of it than Balance, it may just be a random thing. I myself use Balance pieces often...but I haven't yet figured out a way to make Warding worthwhile.
