mages usually grind at BT / IWBTH so they can harvest crystal quicker (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)

But mages in this rank usually high lvl mages with high / fully forged leg phase , near/ fully forged staff and lvl 400+ (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/duck.gif)

A rough calculation tell me that I can clear hell GF with estoc without further forging my leather @lv400. But I'm sure reaching lv 400 take longer than fully forge my armor.

Trying as hard as I could to shave off the number of turn needed to kill the tree and those 3 goddess in Trio arena using the usual 'normal' setup is the only reason why I am even doing arena at all for the past year; it's quite fun, actually... (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/heh.gif)


The current record for 'normal' setup (mace/heavy, no gum/vase/shard) @PFUDOR is 73 turns.

I think your main problem is damage , colman (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

PMI , even with my 78.2% , I still need FRD skill for late rounds to survive and clear it (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)

You need around 81% PMI + good damage to clear it without much trouble (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)

i whack them with my estoc ( 6900 base damage ) and need 140 turns (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/cry.gif)

How can we calculated a base stat of forged equipments? I mean base stat before it's forged while all we know right now is forged stat.

Say, a forged equipment with 30 level of physical damage forge has base stat of 80 weapon damage. What is its unforged weapon damage stat?

+ 1 leg shade of fleet/SD is more expensive than 5 Leg leather of prot (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)



There exception for forged leg shade set , but it's alot more expensive + you need bunch of forged too (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)

~6600. And yes, I did use skills— plus a bit of ingenuity. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)

Testing how far can leather + mace go in hell GF.
My current impression of mace is that it is slower than 1h.
