Well, I might have exaggerated a bit, I don't think the difference in our equips can be that big, half of my Exqs are Mags in disguise. I clear End of Days in ~1 hour, what about you?

As of now I don't really care about anything else except clearing Phudor DwD asap, after that, my level is kinda whatever.

I need IW experts to advice on me please (karma not spent today to give it to you, whoever would like to advice me (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) )

I'm currently playing hell difficulty IW on my exquisites and legendaries, I ran IWTBH IW once at 176 rounds required exq and i barely made it into the finish line using 1 handed fighting style with a cheap eth. rapier of slaughter.

Can you guys tell me your experience on IWing? Like which was easier for you or your preferred fighting style and gears to accompany it as well as which build was quicker. I welcome mage experts to answer me too (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

I mostly have over 80 stamina so plz dont consider stamina consumption, is hell IW too slow and inefficient?

IW is a 2h / 1h world. -edit and niten, but i dont have a set of that, erwtsnert is the one to ask for that- Mage is not too useful for higher difficulty. Might be different for the 450+ decked out mages. 2h is a lot faster, 1h is a lot safer.

I often do hell cuz I dont always have time to sit and mash keys for 30 min or more. Easy enough that i dont bother with shards for most of my runs. it takes me about 16 min for a mag (just over 1 infusion). (Scythe > estoc, power balance til ~160% acc, then slaughters / protects). Also redoing my estoc so going > hell slows a lot w/ my scythe. If you have the time / pay attention, it's probably more efficient to do the highest difficulty you can do comfortably. It usually works out to be better pxp/hr even when sacrificing +damage for pmi when you raise difficulty. But it varies a bit w/ item quality, so have to test yourself. Need at least 2% pmi to go up a difficulty (hell+), but might need 3 and try lowering pmi from there. All this talk is heavy armor, cuz i dont have potion issues, and +2000 damage over leather.

BT vs IWBTH is no longer that much an advantage; iwbth use to be 2x BT pxp modifier, but is now just the normal +40%. Same rule above, do the most efficient one if you have time. But if you're using shards, probably won't get more than 1 run in w/in the hour, so whatever works. For IWBTH, I have to wear my plate chest instead of my slaughter chest, so i prefer BT. harder to get my acc > 140 w/ having to wear plate too.

If going slow and not paying attention much, 1h is really easy just slower. A lot less pmi needed, but 2 2h hell runs w/ 2h is significantly faster than 1 1h BT run (2*2.8 = 5.6 pxp) for me. Carry more spirit potions, at least 5-7. Or use mana overflow + dark spells + drain for sp theft.

If not sharded, at minimum you have to wear enough PMI to get yourself to like 70% of the rounds, and then use scrolls to help out. I have IA3 though; if you're not IAed, might have to add some more PMI since you'll be using more turns rebuffing. Or if potions not a worry, bring some health potions and double dip heals in the late rounds.

totally, tis why something that if i just bother to do it once or twice a day i'd be done in a week is still sitting around after some months. add getting stupid potencies and having to reset . . . hah.

It's just i spent a fortune on IW for my estoc the first time already, trying for SS / Butcher (pre .77), so i had to harden my resolve. Doesnt' make me happy to have gotten all 4 potencies already and not having a distribution i really like at lvl 6, so probably gonna have to reset again sometime. Nah, I've given up on that pipe-dream a long time ago. I already reset my estoc when it got wind strike and now it's been stuck in a limbo of resets for the last year. I'll pretty much take anything now, anything would be better than nothing especially when I use cheap elec/fire/wind/cold infusions most of the time anyway. Anyway, I have my dark strike club with 4/5 and I'll have to be happy with that (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/anime_cry.gif) . If I get good potencies and dark/holy now I consider it an awesome bonus (^^).

If i had better gearmore bindings i'd IW all day long.

Most of my good drop is from IW /GF.
I normally have one run per day.

No. But the time spend on arena is not worthy IMO. People with higher LotD may have different opinion.

I got around 2-5 exq gear from an hell GF / IWBTH IW (200 rounds). A mag drop every 4-5 run (but all are junk mag, the last one become LG cloth (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/anime_cry.gif) ).
