That's if you buy things. If you play long enough, you'll eventually get a reasonably good set without having to pay anything.

Also, people really put too much value into Leg+ gear. I use a mostly Exquisites for my Holy set (recently replaced one for a Mag that dropped) and it's enough to get me through IWBTH Arenas minus marathons (no upgrades either). Bigger issue is how much time and attention I want to spend going though stuff.

There is no point in playing mage if you can't do tha marathons for 'me' since I can clear all arenas excluding the marathons in 2 hours.

Kinda wish finishing Arena on Phudor didn't take so much time, it takes me 10 hours+ to finish everything excluding Eternal Darkness and DwD.

If you have good ping and good equips just stick with melee I guess.

The highest leveled player in HV is melee in main so far I've seen.

You get base damage * 2+ targets on average, and you're complaining that DW can hit one target harder??

I can do PFUDOR DwD in ~65 minutes with shade/dw. I could no doubt do it faster if I had a dual-wield set like Drksrpnt's though. Holy mage should be able to do it (a lot?) faster, assuming they don't run out of mana and have to focus all the time.

My main goal is probably to farm Arena everyday on Phudor, using DW is just not as efficient as mage. So I'm planning to step over to Fenrir in the future, I would've gone for Heimdall if the gears weren't so damn expensive. Well, I don't think I'll sell my DW set just yet before I could hold on my own as mage. The thing I'm worried the most about when I swap is my mana consumption.

I never talked to HTTP b4 so I wasn't sure.. only thing I heard about him was that he used to clear IWBTH IW in 10 mins. Is he level 500 yet?

I'm poor u c I dont want to train LotD anymore... I dont even play HV so frequently anyway. I only play HV when I have bad internet (forcing me to withdraw from playing online games and comeback to HV) given that I have some Tv programs to watch in my computer (e.g. 'Running Man' and 'Gag concert' are must watch for me although I gave up my citizenship of Korea (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif))

He doesn't have the cash to train LOTD because he's buying experience trainings+perks, i doubt he has a single good exq+ item from a clear bonus.

Powerlevelling is overrated, i got to level 245 in 2 months back in january-march and then i quit for 6 months.
Someone i know got over level 300 in 3 weeks during the summer, i told him to stop getting ahead of me (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif).

I'm currently playing hell difficulty IW on my exquisites and legendaries, I ran IWTBH IW once at 176 rounds required exq and i barely made it into the finish line using 1 handed fighting style with a cheap eth. rapier of slaughter.

Can you guys tell me your experience on IWing? Like which was easier for you or your preferred fighting style and gears to accompany it as well as which build was quicker. I welcome mage experts to answer me too (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

I mostly have over 80 stamina so plz dont consider stamina consumption, is hell IW too slow and inefficient?

I can only do IWBTH IW by 1h, so my advice is not useful.
What can I tell you is that 2h IW required good armor.
