Well, first of all install the Magic Scores script... it's great to compare mage equips...

Increase your Agility, it's a very important attribute for mages, i think it's so important as END... also increase you DEX a bit, it's not "very" important, but it's good 'cause adds points to parry (avoid physical damage)... keep WIS and INT even...

The only stat you really don't have to bother is Strength... even so, thrown some points into it cause it will increase your Spirit... and at that point, is very cheap compared to others... My advice is to keep your stats at: 0.5:0.8:1:1:1:1

For equips... Ethereal is not a good prefix for staff... try to get an elemental prefixed staff that match your main Element... preferable that match both prefix and suffix (i.e. Shocking -> Mjolnir)... or with Destruction suffix.. (i.e. Shocking -> of Destruction)

If you can, use all "Phase" armor with your main elemental suffix... if not, use Magic Scores script to see which equip give best output damage to your main Elemental attack...

However... I'm (still) not a mage... (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) ...so, if one appear here, probably he could give you better advices... (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)

For parry and agility, i will increase a bit, but not much as I may not want to try my luck to parry crits.
Also parrying may not be a good choice for mages, as I reply on evade spells more.
WIS is good for arena as it increase magical defence and add magic points, while INT cannot.
For now, I cannot see the meaning of spirit bar, as it is always full for me.
For equips, I wish I have a choice, as the price for exq phase is 10 times more expense. But why phase? (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/blink.gif)

dex needed for accuracy for when you have to bash things (and Ether theft)

phase edb > proficiency for adding to magic damage.

use spirit shield and SoL for dealing with crits.

use imperil for higher difficulties / harder mobs.
check shop in my sig, got some mjolnirs and tempest phase I'm trying to offload for dirt cheap. at the least dont be wearing protect/warding cotton.

If you use FireFox you need to install [addons.mozilla.org] Greasemonkey or [addons.mozilla.org] Scriptish extension first... (I use Scriptish)...

Then drag'n drop the script into any active page... click install...

After installed, to use the script press "S" when hover over an equipment or in equipment popup page...

Do you mean drag the js file or the other formats, and active page means the stats page?
Alright, so I have to set INT=WIS, then 0.8 AGI. So phase for the INT bonus, and what is spirit shield for, as I don't have it. Sol depletes half of the spirit bar, no matter how many points you have.

Yes, the js file... drag'n drop it in any opened page on firefox (not necessary eh or hv)...

Spirit Shield is a Supportive Spell... I think you have it unlocked now (at least wiki says it's unlocked at Lv.200)... it converts Powerfull attacks (aka criticals) into Spirit damage... very useful to stay alive...

SoL uses 50% of you base Spirit when triggered... for me SoL can triggers 3-4 times with full spirit bar...

Chances are way too low even with maxed LoTD, invest your time into doing PFUDOR 2nd page if you don't already. However, if you have the time to do everything on PFUDOR, just do it, even though you might not get ex+ gear the increased EXP and credit/crystal amounts will help you out anyways.

I see in equipment range wiki, peerless force shield's ranges are listed, and in all variants too. Have so many dropped? If anyone know of one, can you give me the equipment link?

I will not overbid that shield (I wont tell you my upper limit for that shield (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif) , but I do not expected I can obtain it). My current bottleneck of clearing GF is more on offensive side. So, if a good weapon showing up .....

I've been thinking about credits (and seeing how PFUDOR still hasn't been updated) I've been doing some light testing. It -SEEMS- like the credit drop for PFUDOR is ~x3.25, but of course I can't be sure. So I have a question about credits, it says drops are ~mostly~ affected by battle mode and difficulty, what else effects it?

I have seen that the same monster gives different credit amounts, so my hope that higher monsters give more credits seems wrong. To figure out that 3.25 I just played PFUDOR and IWBTH (I know, I should have done more difficulties but I didn't want to) and after a bit of play I found the highest amount and lowest amount that I got while playing the two and compared them and the difference seems like that.
