Regarding the stat if INT, does this provide a Heavy Armor wearing Two-Handed fighting style Melee player with a more powerful Cure spell, say? Also, does INT play into how powerful your buffs, like Protection, Shadow Veil, and Spark of Life are?

Case in point: Is it wise to invest in INT, or just let it remain at the baseline points of 10?

My experience to lvl up fast ( pun not intended)

0. Dawn everyday
1. Adept learner
2. Maintain 20 daily posts in a 1 month moving time frame
3. Do Random Encounter at maximum difficulty manageable
4. Maintain being at Great stamina, and or grind for Credits to buy ED
5. Finish Arenas that have highest exp modifier

(4 may depend on how much time you're willing to spend, e.g. for a shade/estoc like me I tend to do Trio and the 2 below it at BT, that brings me the most exp/realtime. If you're DW maybe IWBTH/PFDOR Marathons will be better)

Others:
Donate for stars
Infusions for both main & off-hand to increase damage output

Intelligence is useless for melee. It only adds to stats that helps mages (magic damage, magical crit). Only thing that it helps with melee is that it gives a little extra spirit points (all PABs give spirit). Right now I have it at 1/25th the cost of my other stats. You should keep it at that or less (even down to 1/100th I've heard, but I think at that point it's so cheap it's worth the extra spirit).

Well, I've only ever gotten three mags, and two of them are worthless to me, so I'd welcome that.

well , my best record is get 7 mag a day from only arena run and 5 Leg in 5 days ( 1 leg per day ) in previous patch (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

usually I always get mag drop daily ( leg usually in 1-3 day drop )

The question is--why are you trying to play arenas on Battletoads at level 88? You don't have the spells and equipment necessary to play on higher difficulties yet. I wouldn't recommend playing arenas on difficulties above Hell, if that. The only way to avoid one-hit kills for now is to use scrolls that grant the Spark of Life effect -- Scroll of Life and Scroll of the Gods -- but you'll burn through them rather quickly, so it will be costly.

Looking for Token of Blood drops, since in my history on HV I've only ever gotten ONE Token of Blood. And I almost exclusively play Arena, so I'm not sure why. And that was on the very first Arena (which Ive previously cleared on PFUDOR with little difficulty)

Observe:

I'm not sure what you mean by "elemental proficiency refusing to proc". Elemental proficiency is a stat, not a proc. It slowly increases as you cast elemental spells. The closer your base elemental proficiency is to your character level, the more difficult it becomes to raise. Once it is equal to your character level, it will no longer increase until you level up. The same applies to every other proficiency.

I've got elemental proficiency of 11.68 at level 88. Given that my primary means of attack is elemental spells, with occasional use of my staff to get my overcharge up, I would have thought I'd have much higher than that. And the increased proficiency notification rarely ever procs,unlike supporting or deprecating.

Spell proficiency gain chance is its cost per your mana tank. To get proficiency easier, you need to cast costlier spells. Well, offensive spell only cost so much, so you just got to deal with it.

Once you unlock higher level arena, your chance getting blood token rise. It still 20 against 80 versus chaos, but you get tokens most likely there. For now, you'd better amass experience and credit. First ring of blood clear is high indeed, but after some while it isn't really.

Observe:

Don't worry about that, once you slow down on leveling your proficiencies will catch up.
