QUOTE(Shuleria @ Dec 16 2010, 08:09) 30-35% on pants/robes is good @250 +40% on pants/robes @250 is very very good if you can get something that's close to 45% you found gold if your items aren't in that range but close, use them until you find something better but don't level them if you have other things you feel you need to level more. my 2 cents (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) This post has been edited by 4EverLost: Dec 17 2010, 02:05

QUOTE(4EverLost @ Dec 16 2010, 09:15) Superior Prism Axe of the Ox +21.22 STR and nice bleed I've got this axe with great + STR but only 27% ADM. Axe damage is based a lot on the str you have so is this any good or is a +50% ADM axe better? Maybe not in damage, but STR also give more shield rating among other small things, it's not so good against gods either, there's a lot better axes (only 16 base bleed).

ya I wouldn't use that vs the gods but I don't recall having any other axe's with that much str. and thought it would be fun to make a all str setup to see what kind of damage I could do. I think something like this would be better for the gods if it had 1-2 more turns of bleed. Superior Prism Axe of Balance

if i keep them to offer them for when i will really need, like in level 100 or more, they can give me equip of level 100 quality or they still will give me equip of level 50 quality?

QUOTE Guys. Should I save the next 4 aura points (160, 170, 180, 190) for Focused Aura III (@190) and then spend them on Red, Orange, Yellow and Green. Or should I spend them on Blue, Indigo and Violet before then? QUOTE My current Aura Ranks. Red Rank III Orange Rank III Yellow Rank III Green Rank III Blue Rank I Indigo Rank I Violet Rank II

depends on what you do
most of the time you'd want lightning as high as you can get it, then fire. you'll need high wind too. or you can go holy/dark & soul. but even if you do that high lightning is best for killing most monsters.
violet if you need the Magic hit change or soul dmg indigo is +2% MD per rank thats on all your spells + the int is more dmg & magic rating + it also adds more elec rating
I'd use some of them

they will give you equipment near your level, just like monster drops...

Which, if you offer it on specific kinds of loot, such as Cloth or Light Armor, they have the chance to give you really good equipment (like Phase and Kevlar (but rarely, though))

Hm. I'll definitely save 2 aura points for Yellow and Green. (Evade & Absorb) So this leaves me with 2 points to spare on either - Red, Orange (saved up) @190 - Indigo x2 for Elec rating and MDM (though the only time I'm actually maging is RoB. holy spells) I'd go for those mage specific auras but I'm 98% melee with occasional deprec and supportive spells. So I'm really tempted to save all 4 points until I'm 190 to get ranks in R O Y G. The question is if that's a good idea.. I'm basically giving up on small upgrades until I'm 190. On the other hand.. does Magical Hit Chance affect deprecating spells? If it does I could settle for 1 more rank Violet aura. But I don't know exactly what it does.. would it decrease the chance of resists? If it does there's this way. - 1 rank Violet @160 and 1 rank Red OR Orange @190 (saved up)

Any spell that can be resisted is affected by Magic Accuracy. So if you are still primarily, melee, I'd go with Red.

Anyone knwo about a possible percentage of an item to gain a level through an item world on Cake difficulty? I know that it probably isn't too good, like maybe 10-20%, but I don't know exactly. Easy definitely has a higher percentage of that item to level up than Cake does, but still not guaranteed....
I have a few other questions about item worlds:
Should I be able to get through items >Level 200 of Average quality on Easy at my level yet, or would I still get crushed later on in the Item World? (I'd be meleeing).
Thanks!

This seems an odd question, but why is the katana in hito's auction considered to be that good? http://hentaiverse.org/pages/showequip.php...;key=85e109fcdbBesides the very high adm, i don't see why it's worth over 350k edit: somehow it has become 1 million O_O' This post has been edited by hyl: Dec 18 2010, 02:47

When you have money to throw around and something good comes along, you throw it around. It'll be a good replacement for my katana, which I've been looking to replace for a long time.

Then it gets an ADM of 72% at level 300, and a bleed of 416, which is very good even for a normal longsword (468 is the highest I have seen, but I haven't been here for long). Then it has decent burden and agility and dex, which give it at least a little avoidance, while longswords with high burden and without those stats will increase the damage you take (somewhere around a 5% difference at my level I think). On top of that it has 21 out of 25 possible proc chance and 5 out of 6? possible turns for the proc, and 6.6% hit at level 300, which isn't bad either. These stats are all very good for a normal sword, and much harder to come by on a Katana.

Cmal probably knows this but doesn't want to wait 20 more years for a good katana to drop so he over paid for this. Had he won it for 100k, he would have been delighted but unfortunately someone else wanted it as well. The more than double of the final bid shows a bit of frustration and a desire to finish the auction quickly, but doesn't necessarily mean the katana is worth a million. That's how I took it, but could be totally wrong, you'd need to ask Cmal himself for the answer (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif) tl dr; Katana is over paid. Money are meant to be spent, ya know?
I guess "laziness" is the main reason here why cmal bring the cost up that much (too lazy to LVling gear, too lazy to keep on bidding). and if you have that much Artifacts to throw around, why not?

This is my current katana, its at about my level and pretty good. Yes, I overpaid. I could have bid less severely, but I didn't want to waste any more time in a bidding war. Besides, I mostly paid in Artifacts, which I have a ton of and little use for. I've gotten some good gear from hito in the past, so I don't mind.
