Where should I look for improvements? Or should I go for a different elemental?

Play for a long long long time and you will have a set of superiors gears (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)

Keep grinding in arenas but with higher difficulty for better credits and loot chance (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

light or heavy (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/huh.gif)

I sold one of those for like 100k one time. Shortsword has been buffed since then though, DOT used to only go up to 15% and I think the damage goes a bit higher now. Still, you'd be lucky to get 100-200k, imo. Shortswords still don't really have any use with high level players, mostly people who buy them are just someone who's looking to own one of every weapon.
