I suppose this could be true since a level zero Ethereal still commands higher price than an Eelemental/Vanilla equipment. It's very rare to see a max level Ethereal do poorly in the WTS but I've seen fair number of max level elemental/vanilla languishing at less than a third of the accepted price for leveling an equipment from zero to max.

So i just unlocked FSM. Since i don't want to waste the equipment drop(or tokens), what difficulty should i try to fight him/her/it at? Does it not matter if LOtD isn't high enough (i'm at 7)?

Posting stats because i have no idea how preared/unprepared i am

No, you just need to get the credits for the first time. Next you can go at whatever difficulty you want. Mostly people go with the harderst difficulty to get higher chance for better quality drop.

Using Silence with enough Deprecating prof, FSM & 3 schoolgirls become just punching bags who have much HP only.
Using Spirit Shield, you're safe from their most attack.
It's very easy even on the highest difficulty when you're prepared with these two.
But go normal difficulty for the first time if you're uncertain (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)
