QUOTE(buktore @ Oct 6 2013, 12:08) Why not just go with 2H instead of DW if you're going to based your gameplay around using skill? (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/huh.gif) Or was it about marathon arenas? (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif) I dunno. I was always a DW. Except when my level was below 50 (at that time I was using the Naked Kung Fu Monk style). I'm just looking to make the most out of DW. If 2H = gameplay around using skill, then DW = ???

That's not what I meant. What I meant is that, just like how 1H is the easiest/most effective to play with just SS+Normal attack— if you're going to based your gameplay around skill on general play, some style are easier to do/more effective than the other; Niten, for instance, is the easiest of all melee style to play with skill because it doesn't require any chaining to use and it will proc x3PA/x5Bleed regardless of the monster status.

I see now. When you said 2H, it's because 2H's skills are effective compared to DW (in marathons). 2H's T2 & T3 skills work on multiple enemies while proc PA & Stun respectively. While DW's FB doesn't proc anything.

Huh, just my luck that I had to pick the hardest/least effective fighting style to play HV (DW Light). I don't know about Hujan but I won't even bother trying other fighting styles until I achieve Dohvakiin status in DW Light. It's a fairly dubious achievement but nonetheless, it is a milestone of a sort in HV. Beside, my meager credit flow simply won't allow me the luxury of trying to support different fighting styles. I haven't played DW seriously for a while now (too lazy to do marathon + IW my club & rapier...), but I would say DW is better than 2H in marathon; DW skill does a lot of dmg from what I remember. I'm sure someone else will going to give you a better answer about this than me though... This post has been edited by buktore: Oct 6 2013, 11:16

Butcher vs Fatality vs Swift Strike vs Overpower I think that: - Fatailty+Butcher is the best combination for Heavy who has high burden. (and Fatality > Butcher) - Swift Strike+Fatality is the best one for Light. (and Swift Strike > Fatality because +10% atk spd means +10% damage output.) Overpower is also good, but it depends on monsters... https://forums.e-hentai.org/index.php?s=&am...t&p=2842014What's your opinion about this? In my case (1H Heavy) with Heartseeker: - No potency - AD: 6158 WD: 897 crit%: 28.1% / crit dmg +50% -> crit%: 35.29% / crit dmg +64% Average dmg = ((6158 * 0.6471) + (6158 * 0.3529 * 1.64)) * 1.25 = 9436.03 - Butcher Lv5 - AD: 6247 WD: 986 crit%: 28.1% / crit dmg +50% -> crit%: 35.29% / crit dmg +64% Total = ((6247 * 0.6471) + (6247 * 0.3529 * 1.64)) * 1.25 = 9572.4 +136.37 (1.4452%) - Fatality Lv5 - AD: 6158 WD: 897 crit%: 28.1% / crit dmg +60% -> crit%: 35.29% / crit dmg +74% Average = ((6158 * 0.6471) + (6158 * 0.3529 * 1.74)) * 1.25 = 9707.67 +271.64 (2.8788%)

The quickest way is not to play it (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) . BTW, I believe I'm a experienced HV player but I still fail in riddle from time to time (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/anime_cry.gif)
