QUOTE(n125 @ Sep 8 2013, 19:29) Yeah; once you put Imperil on everything, it really shouldn't matter which element you use. I think wind's advantage with Konata is a bit overstated. If you're capable of clearing IWBTH DwD, then whether or not you can kill one of the four schoolgirls quickly shouldn't make a difference. If anything, wind and ice are the dumb choices now because everyone seems to be flocking to them, driving up the value of Freyr and Niflheim equipment. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif) wind , ice , fire and thunder (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) mjolnir price still not going crazy like wind and ice lately (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)

QUOTE(nobody_xxx @ Sep 8 2013, 15:19) some million but i don't know how much since shield is not that popular style (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) Seems a bit high for a buckler, I'd say 200-250k is the least you could expect, though it does have good stats. Not too sure on this one.

Mediocre pabs. The PMI and block seem low to me as well.
Probably 150k.

Okay I have another mage question. When it comes to using the elemental procs that you get when using spells, like the freeze that reduces wind resist and other debuffs, is it worth using the other spell to blow up the debuff?
Even though I don't have any magic damage increases towards wind would it still be worth it? Is there a certain amount of +cold damage bonus that would make it not worth it?
Another question: if a mob is resistant to cold magic but weak to say fire would it be worth using fire over cold for that mob specifically?
Thanks.

I think the block chance is quite big for a buckler. The question is, would higher level player bother with buckler? Won't they look for tower? This question is important because higher level players are the ones with money.
Me? Purchasing a rapier of 50K credit exhaust my reserve, I need to look for blood tokens to replenish it.

Ok, it's just bug that I can't Salvage Item ?
Had a Helmet with upgrades and Locked it (in case to not sell it by mistake like I did once with shield). Now have something better, I unlocked that helmet and try to salvage it but it still says that "Can't Salvage Locked items". Bug ?

I don't see your stat, so I assume your fire is not so different from your cold damage (how difference could it be in your level anyway). So, I'd go with fire. Weak versus resistance has a stark difference in mitigation. At least, that's what I've observed. -------------- edit: I actually need to ask something. I forgot. I am curious why people play high level arena in higher difficulty. As far as I know, it's only about taking advantage of experience multiplier. It doesn't affect quips drop chance. I mean, if you play IWBTH in, say, First Blood, its chance would still be the same when playing IWBTH in ADwD. I would like to be pointed to a wiki page, if any, that said otherwise. I ask this because I play normal in Longest Journey and up, thinking that playing higher than that cost me more time while the reward's not much different. QUOTE Quality Modifiers Difficulty Luck of the Draw Training Battle Modes Random Encounter: A static Round Bonus. clarkiest: lowest arenas benefit the least from IWBTH, both due the abovementioned higher loot quality bonus in higher arenas and due the fact that there are less monsters, while their main benefit is the arena token bonus chance.

QUOTE Arena: A static Arena Bonus is given based on the arena level. Eh? This doesn't mean difficulty? My reading comprehension is surprisingly low. I'm embarassed. thank you.

The 3 schoolgirl arenas usually give the best drops. Which sucks because they're a pain in the ass to do (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)

So many different types of answers. But thanks guys for your input. Got an offer of 300k. Now I am thinking whether I should take the 300K or auction it (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/dry.gif) This post has been edited by xcaliber9999: Sep 8 2013, 19:50

I'd recommend you sell the shield for 300K.
