I usually just concentrate on killing the most dangerous one first before taking on other mobs. Now that I've swapped BW for Stun, can I retain that strategy or should I change it? Something like "try to stun all the mobs first then start killing the most dangerous mobs"? Any other tips on clearing the round as efficiently as possible with the Club +Rapier combo?

Full hp mobs deal less damage than damaged mobs so I would probably do the same thing as you were doing.

Well Heartseeker has a long cast time, so many monsters will get 2 attacks in (each) while you are casting it. If you don't have your other defensive buffs up yet, I would recommend not casting heartseeker yet, even if you get channeling from your first round's spell. That is probably why you died, not "act of God" as we were talking about before. Like SPoison and hentai_fusion said, haste first. Also, you really might want to reconsider adding in a leather of protection piece until your evade and parry are higher.

Could it have been worth something? Yep, same with the crude stuff I did the same thing with.

Why do it on IWBTH? Because the monsters have a LOT more health, so you will get more attacks in per round, so you save your stamina. If you do it in a low quality item, you'll be able to survive it better, because they won't hit as hard. That's why.

You can touch it, but don't finish it. Say if it has 25 rounds, finish 24 then flee. You won't gain any levels on it that way. Also I'd say it's pretty valuable for you (as in useful) and might be low enough that someone would pay some good money for it. I've been using this for my IW proficiency grinding, so it's better than what I've got. By "lower than 130" for being worth something again, I meant something significant. I've seen one item that only had 106 pxp and it was pretty highly coveted.

Typically lower than 130 will start to be worth something again. From 20-30k depending on the person you're selling to and how desperate they are. Lower and lower numbers will be worth even more. This is because the damage the monsters do is directly linked to the item's PXP in IW, so you can survive IWBTH in IW for loads of turns while leveling up proficiency.

Worth something... yes, I was saying I sold that kind of stuff too, and never even looked. It's a lesson we all have to learn.

IW proficiency... go into the item world of a crude item (low base pxp is lower quality crude) and see how hard the monsters hit you. Probably like 60 damage each. It lets you hit them and get hit by them to increase weapon and armor proficiency, if you are trying a new skill like mage, or 2h or DW, or heavy/light armor increase. It will take a long time, but your proficiency will catch up because you won't be leveling as fast. More rounds to kill them (especially if you use low quality weapons too) and you will save your stamina for arenas and RE and things that give you more exp.

I also am having a lot of debate as to whether I should take a sales job that has absolutely no hourly rate, in other words no pay guarantee, but gives something like 15% of the total of all the jobs I book. But I don't think it is like waitressing either, where tips are pooled, I wouldn't get anything from other people's sales.
