I pay attention even if there's no need to, like when I'm effectively immortal back at the time when mace was still king. (highest dmg of all 2H + permastun + OC passive dmg boost + no sp stance shenanigan) If I don't, I'll get the hollow, "Why am I playing this?" sort of feeling... I use full shade with and estoc with these stats and I can do IWBTH arenas quite easily (Trio and below, I use DW for the 3 schoolgirl arenas). I have 2 IA slots and I use haste and shadow veil in those. I activate regen II, spark, spirit shield, and heartseeker. Mana isn't an issue so I just re-up the spells whenever I run out (doesn't matter if I'm in spirit stance). I hack away with the number pad until I reach 250% OC and I activate spirit stance. Rinse and repeat. Sometimes I use a spirit-stanced great cleave with 3x PA on a schoolgirl/boss/trio on the final round but that's the only time I use skills.

With dual-wield I get about 28% speed because of the swift strike on my weapons (but my rapier isn't even leveled all the way so it can easily go over 30 with a non-agile set). And yeah, I usually finish DwD with about 3 mana pots left and that's without being careful (I pretty much just cast spells whenever).

For all the smilies in your posts, you are turning out to be surprisingly humourless, neh? (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/duck.gif)

QUOTE(nobody_xxx @ Aug 31 2013, 23:18) your base damage is +3000 than starrk , xtech (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) I know Tech is 34 levels above me and has an almost fully forged legendary estoc but fuck, that is a huge difference (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) . I like Ichy's idea of giving light more crit damage. Tenboro could build it into light proficiency and the light ability tree that way our current gear doesn't become obsolete.

Thanks to all for the Estoc advice, esp. to ethotex for his detailed account. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) I now have to figure out my plate vs. power combos and try em out. Also a pretty good Shade set too, not as good as Starrk's, but then who does. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) @ethotex what damage do you get with your 66-72 PMI sets? my best-looking mixed set now produces 69.4 PMI with 4931 damage, and 12.7 block thrown in too. thanks again. If you just need it for downloads in a pinch, whatever you already have and have decent proficiency will be better than spending more credits on upgrades. Do some arenas on whichever difficulty you feel comfortable, and then head over to the GP Exchange, since it's FAR more cost effective to download via GP than credits. Currently at 100-102 credits for 1000 GP. Sometimes it fluctuates a -little- bit but that's about where it normally hangs out. Oh, and if your gear is mediocre, then even going through the arenas on normal will still get you the clear bonuses, just the credit drops each round won't be as high.

Oh, and the last part is for newbies who might be reading as well. At 220, your gear is likely not garbage, unless you sold everything before your break.
