Are the different Bindings that are required for upgrading equipment able to be obtained by salvaging, or just as drops?

Actually, you can only get them from the monster lab as a gift. Yes, you can salvage them, but your equipment needs to have bindings on it in the first place to actually get any bindings from it.

Gotcha. What is a good PL for a monster to have a decent chance of finding them? I really don't know much about the ML yet

PL does not affect what bindings or 'rares' you get, but a higher PL will generally help with winning more battles which will lead to more gifts overall.

What exactly is Imperil? Most of the other spells are fairly self-explanatory but I cannot figure out what Imperil does.

Thanks again PK - you've said mob, so it's a multiple target spell?

My head is just pounding, I haven't played two longer rounds of Arena in one day, well never. I first did the Eternal Darkness in Normal for the clearance bonus then for whatever impulsive reasons I decided to do Exile in IWBTH - cleared with both HHP, 2 of 9 HMP, and 1 of 2 HSP to spare. The drops were lousy as usual (not even a token of blood), but at least the result indicates that the next level should be doable with the current number of battle slots.

Even after doing the two levels of Arena, catching as many hourlies in IWBTH as I can, plus the Dawn of the Day Exp bonus, I am still 18 million points short of levelling up. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/anime_cry.gif)

Are there any stat to reduce mana cost?
I am playing DW/Light, so I still need many regen and cure. My interference is kept low, but still at 125% modifier. I (faintly) remember when I was still at level 10 or 20, casting cure only cost 5 MP, but now it's about 30MP. If my modifier is 125%, shouldn't the mana cost be 7 MP for each cast?

Thanks, it looks like Weaken will be the Deprecating spell of choice for a good long while yet. I have both Better Weaken and Faster Weaken slotted, should they both be slotted or can I remove one of them?

what's the highest PL monster that anyone has? i saw in the wiki that there is a maximum PL of 2250, does anyone have such a monster?

If you're a mage then you need Imperil.

Faster Weaken and Better Weaken both do different things, but if you think you can live without one of them, then go for it. Most people who use Weaken regularly probably have both abilities.

Oh, shit! I was looking at level scalling page and found nothing!
How can I survive IWBTH? Battletoads already exhaust my pots in just few rounds!

I just tried absorb. It cost more than 20 MP, but only gives 7 when triggered.
What's the point?

n125 & pk678353 - i had a look at that list, it is interesting thanks! how come i can't find my monsters there? more importantly - how much gifts do those top end monsters bring in? is it worth it to try level your monsters up that high?
