So, after 1 year and 5m credit of fapping, I'm at the point where I have to farm credits. Apparently my gears are now obsolete (check my sig), and I struggled with 40 rounds of arena on Hell difficulty. What would be the fastest way, with reasonable cost, to get back on my feet? I used to be 2h heavy, would going light, or even mage make life easier?

I still have a full set of exquisite plate of protection, but they're pretty old. Should I mix plate protection with power slaughter, or go full plate ?

When it comes to mixing leather with shade and plate with power, go with as little as you're comfortable with - for example, some people prefer full shade over full power(of slaughter) due needing to cure lot more even if it may be faster. And very old doesn't necessarily mean bad - judge the stats yourself. However, exq generally isn't that good - you'd very likely serve yourself well if you were to replace them with shielding plate.

Energy Drinks are quite rare Artifact shrining drops and there's a big demand for them, so the price naturally rises.

So it is harder to come by when shrining? I mean, at the prices some artifacts are going, it might be better to buy several artifacts instead of 1 ed.

Don't forget that only about 5-10% of the artifacts drop Energy drinks, and the other drops are not quite as good. The hath is nice, but you have the biggest chance to get crystals, Primary attribute points and happy pills, which aren't really worth a huge chunk of money.

Crystals from artifacts are kind of nice with Crystarium III. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif) Happy Pills and Last Elixirs though...

Anyway, Great Stamina only gives a 100% Experience bonus now because the damage bonus was removed in 0.76. So if you can live without the Experience bonus, then you don't really need to worry about Energy Drinks, unless you play a lot in Grindfest or an Item World.

Can I become god tier mage? I mean i abandone warrior and leveling up any related mage skill?

I did DwD on BT a while back with 10000 magic score, as dark mage. It took about 2hrs, ether tapping alot! Ether tapping almost every chance, I used about 8-9 mana pots.

@rpb if I'm honest, mage is more fun with explosions and aoe, but melee is SOOO much easier. melee just gear up and point and click, profs will do most the rest

Thank you for your insight. My biggest gripe about sorcerers is really the limited selection of weapon. While there are a multitude of spells it'd be nice if later patches included magical weapons besides staffs. Heck, throw in a wands that you could double wield hehe. This willow staff was only 200k and gave me a significantly higher dark score. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif) The difference was that the willow was 15 INT lower, 12 WIS higher, 10 dark EDB higher, has 8% counter-resist, 55 deprecating higher, and 5 burden lower then the katalox. So I went with the willow.

yeah, i can't get any Econo on this.... I've tried, keep getting End and Agility. So that's why I want TenB to buff heavy, so I can go back to melee. Maging without Econo5 sux hairy balls.

I thought that budget was for legendary? I think people valued katalox more pre-0.76, because you could cycle from holy to dark.
