Ironically enough, for me on that screenshot if it were (((209+100)+100)^1.27)-247 the result is 1827, which would allow me to fight Mingyannu Giant and Sakurai Kei, but never see Kodou Yuki or Eila Ilmatar Juutilainen 501st (which I haven't yet seen). Perhaps there's another tier besides just 1-99 and 100+, where the difficulty modifer is factored in twice.

I guess this discussion should be held in another thread if we really wanted to speculate further, though... huh?

Edit: at level 213 I just encountered Eila Ilmatar Juutilainen 501st which as of this fight is PL 2076, so that still wouldn't work... though ((213+100)+100)^1.27 is 2100 so that could work.

Deals 50% damage of your normal attack, physical damage, possibly effected by +% elemental damage. It makes leveling up weapons to MAX worth it as you get a huge damage increase.

Strikes are not affected by Elemental Damage Bonus from the weapon (or Phase for that matter). It would be hilarious if it did, my staff would be doing more with the strike than the hit.

Are you finally playing IWBTH or are you still doing only the hourlies? What's with this discussion on the above monsters, are they your creation? Math was never my strong suit and your speculations above are just sailing past my head. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif) All I know is that they are strong, almost always in the top 3 of the mob with 100k+ HP, and if unlucky you can meet them all at the same time. The longest Arena I've done so far in IWBTH is Lv120, 60 rounds (today) and I think I've fought Mingyannu half dozen times or so - Mingyannu is the most memorable to me, since I am on it's multiple kill list. If you're melee, save up and get resplendent regeneration definitely. Oh and no hybrid is not good.

You can't talk about equipment that generally due to the random nature of stats. It could a 10 million credit item, or worthless bizzare fodder.

you need to see EDB , prefix ( , radiant , frugal , charged or mystic ) , PAB ( INT , WIS , AGI ) , Eva , PMI of that phase (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)

I'm still only doing hourlies mostly, but I have been doing some crude IW IWBTH to grind some proficiencies up on 2h so I can actually do IW stuff on my gear when I find worthwhile items, at the suggestion of etothex. I've occasionally done a few arenas as well, but just haven't gotten to the point where I can do a large number of rounds on IWBTH yet (also I've been throwing around a lot of deprecating spells).

The above mentioned monsters are not mine. I'm getting them from the list of top 50 player created monsters, shown in the Monster Lab Bestiary. The calculation part is in reference to the Monster Lab page on the wiki, under sub-section Monster PL vs. Player Level.

Mingyannu would definitely be memorable for a lot of people, he's a giant, and heavy armor is weak to crushing. He's also pretty well buffed, which would make him memorable to more people, too. Like Kodou Yuki who is maxed out on PL, and speculated to be maxed out on chaos upgrades, too.

i find more rewarding playing at nintendo and clear a more than double amount of rounds than playing at IWBTH.
sure, if i had the time and will to clear everyting at IWBTH daily i would do so, but the time i can and want to dedicate to this game is limited and the numbers tell me that i get more not plauing at IWBTH.

i go for IWBTH only for REs and RoB arenas.

How much does Butcher 5 add to weapon damage? The wiki says

All non-Primary Attribute and damage type potencies give roughly 2% per player level per potency level.

Roughly 10% of your weapon's damage that is scaled to your level - not sure of the actual amount due not sure how it compares to forging(quality multiplied or not).

Sorry to say, but I think you overpaid..... No prefix on the weapon means no extra strike and not ethereal. Take a look at chazers last auction. the ethereal went for 800k.

5Butcher means 0.02% base stat x 5 = 10%, like Lement said. So 73.12=1.10x, where x is the original base damage, that means it had original base of 66.47 WD, which is not exquisite max.

The good thing is, you know now. I used to buy gear in the bazaar until level 200, then I found there was a WTS forum. I spent alot of credits on jank gear instead of porn..... (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)

Well, I bought my Exquisite Ethereal Club of Slaughter for 200k, and it was level 0 and I don't feel like I was ripped off. Since then, I leveled it up some, and got some help from someone else to level it up more, and he charged me 80k, which was cheaper than IW service and he told me he was learning some from testing different setups doing the runs.

Differences: you don't have elemental or ethereal on it, and no endurance. PA is pretty good on it, (better than my club's proc lol)... neither of our weapons would be exq. max damage as treesloth stated. I think you may have overpaid a little bit, but not exactly "ripped off"

(My club is open to judgment too, I don't mind if someone chimes in)
