According to the wiki, there are "great" and "normal" battle rounds, and they consume stamina at different rates. How do you tell which is which?
You're a bit off.
"Great", "Normal", and "Exhausted" are just names for Stamina ranges. Just hover your mouse over the smiley face icon in HV and you'll see. The effects of Stamina apply to all rounds.
When your Stamina is between 99 and 80 inclusive, you have "Great" Stamina and receive a 100% Experience bonus in all battle rounds. "Great" Stamina is consumed at 1 point per 20 rounds of any battle mode.
When your Stamina is between 79 and 10 inclusive, you have "Normal" Stamina, and receive no Experience bonus.
When your Stamina is less than 10, you have "Exhausted" Stamina, and you gain no Experience at all. (It's possible there are other penalties as well, but I've never let my Stamina get this low.)
"Normal" and "Exhausted" Stamina are consumed at 1 point per 100 rounds of any battle mode.
Your current Stamina is indicated on the left pane, underneath "To next level".
