But I want to clarify that I was referring to Penetrated Armor + Banish. Which does about 5k damage if done right. Bleeding Wound does maybe 1/15 of that. So I go for more PA procs with 2 rapiers.

(You're right of course.. 25% 5-turn rapier + axe of holy cow would work even better.)

I just leveled to level 29 and all of a sudden monsters are hitting almost 50's on me... They used to hit under 10... I have the same settings and armor still so what happened?
Nevermind, that was only the arena...I lost the 2nd easiest arena when one of the monster hit 80 on me...


Also: What should I spend my ability points in? I have more than 20 points and don't know what to do with it...

60~80 I checked. About 50.
It takes 3minutes tops. It's really only casting buffs, debuffs and then holding r for banish whenever PA is up.

I just ran a test vs yuki and it took me 80 turns, and I got nowhere near your damage... I have close to 0 divine prof but I wore my heaven-sent set to make up for it.

He's 30+ levels higher than you. That make quite the difference. He might also have his divine prof. up to speed or his own heaven-sent set.

I'm pretty sure I can hit higher than 5k without PA and wearing only a staff.

Is the level 40 area the only area where monsters will scale higher than you and give you trouble?

Would it be worth my time to grab another longsword with decent stats and start Item World runs on my level 167 longsword for experience or drops?

It's probably better to pick up a crappy 200+ level piece of equipment and do IW runs on that.

oh he meant in battle. Well the auto restock is a new feature in the most recent patch for only scrolls and infusions.

Most notable differences are most likely:
- I have both holy tiers maxed. That's an additional 20% Holy Rating.
- Arcane Focus. 15% Higher Magic DMG and Crit Chance.
- 55 Divine Prof
- higher level

I had 1 tier of holy Maxed and was doing about 2000 damage.
I take it that you don't lag INT? Did you have a heaven-sent set equipped for that kind of damage?

I keep my stats the same.
Always in this order: END, AGI, STR, WIS, DEX, INT
No. I've used maybe 2 mediocre pieces for testing once. But I usually go full evade silk.
