Plus a few more but those are the ones I have equipped on the second set right now. How high a level are we talking about? A million EXP per hourly isn't cutting it as far as speedy level-ups go and I can't handle IWBTH. Not to mention I'm running low on credits and can't afford to donate right now. I guess the idea of nuking whole mobs with a single click sounds tempting.

at max prof, level and AP, T1 targets 5 monsters only. T2 targets 7 with CD 2 and T3 targets 10 with CD 4.

and you need at least 2 clicks in order to nuke some monsters.

you might want to give 2H a try.

What are the deciding factors of spell expiration time / how long a spell lasts ?
We experience quite different durations - independently of spirit stance, meaning: with no spirit the durations differ much, within spirit stance too.

is there an efficient way to cast heartseeker in higher difficulties?
the chance of getting channeling in 4 casts in a row isn't that high, and heartseeker cost like 1/3 of my magic bar. items don't get refilled unless I quit the game, what can I do?

fill out pack rat, and mana potion abilities. greater mana potions and lesser spirit potions cause overflow for me. I use to bother with conserving mana by waiting for channeling for heartseeker, but now i cast it even w/o channeling. Test it out and see if your mana concerns are worth the consideration.

just use focus to recover your mp

4 mana potions, and 57 grueling rounds later, I emerge from the Nightmare grindfest 2 levels higher. Finally getting to the point where higher level play isn't insane and I have to income to use decent mana pots in combat. Will it be easier still at 150? Looking around, I'll get more speed, crit chance, accuracy, plus spell and tank upgrades.

m118w11: I don't know, if I personally don't have channeling after stanced absorb, spark, regen, SS, sol, SV, protection I just cast heartseeker because the added damage and crit damage is a lot - generally, mana is not such a problem that you must conserve your time intensively. Plus furthermore, the slower you go the more mana you lose too.

@fanservicefan: everything of prof is currently trash. As in focus staff is better option trash. As in legendary gossamer loses to well-rolled average phase trash.

And qualities of your equips need to be way higher, even just exquisite staves are so common they're hard to sell in wts.

As for level, iirc you needed 250 to unlock tier 3 spells, which will start at 7 turn cooldown. 310 unlocks 3-target 0-cooldown imperil as well.

Crap, it'll take me months to get to that high of a level. I guess I'll stick with 2H. I never saw anything higher then Exquisite in the shop or as a drop. For the most part the only usable spells I have are support ones like Shadow Veil and Spark of Life. What's the level cap anyway?

There is a WTS subforum in hentaiverse chat(this forum) where you can buy exquisite+ equipment from other players. Most exquisite+ tier 1 equipment get salvaged and tier 2-3 sold in player shops instead of to the bazaar.

DW is very viable if all you do is arenas.

I've had two items assigned as tasks since early this morning, each was tasked as High Bid plus 1 and there
both still with my bid, no price change since I placed the order (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)

I also had some crystals in the the tasks and they only took about 30 min to an hour to complete (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

What's the deal with Item Shop Bot moogles, why won't they give me what I asked for?

While some items, such as crystals are automatically restocked in the shop, most need to be sold to it by players. It might be only crystals that get restocked, I'm not too sure.

Is dark mage'ing the way to go these days? Kinda feel like im wasting my time doing holy, or when i switch to moljnir for a change

Generally, proficiency (which translates to level if you're a melee) and number of APs invested. Not all supportive/deprecating spells start out with the same base duration, which can be modified by the (Better X) abilities, and further modified by your effective proficiencies in Supportive and Deprecating respectively.

I think you can have Ether Tap proc 3x. And I don't think it's useless; it's quite helpful in long arenas or IWs. It might be useless for the level 400+ mages though.

Base Mana determines how much MP is returned per tick of Ether Tap. You can stack Ether Tap to get double the return, but it's probably tricky to pull off at low levels.

If you can't do your non-schoolgirl arenas without having to use Ether Tap, then you're either not carrying enough Heroic Mana Potions or are playing on a difficulty that is too high.

just used ET on an arena... my ET drains 21 mp and it becomes 41 mp when stacked at 2x.

the amount ET recovers depends on the monster so there is nothing much you can do about it.

ET is used to sort of reduce your mp cost. if you want to regain mp then use focus instead.
