When you use potions from "restoratives" menu, they are consumed instantly.

Duration is meaningless out side of battle, I get it. But what say about Restore? Does it or does it not effect the mana and spirit pots you use out side of battle?

Hello, I was wondering if I could get advice on what I should wear right now. What I'm wearing right now is this:

Fair Club of Balance
Fine Rapier of Slaughter
Crude Shield Helmet of Warding
Fair Plate Cuirass of Protection
Fine Plate Gauntlets of Protection
Fine Power Leggings of Warding
Fair Shield Sabatons of Dampening

I figured i liked the club/rapier set up for the stun/parry. I wanted to wear a heavy armor set because I don't really trust in evasion that much and would rather just have high mitigation. Is my thinking correct here or is there something better I could do here? Also, I'm not really sure what abilities to get like supportive and deprecating. I know to get the dw abilites and hp/mp/sp tanks but don't know what else to get. Thanks for the advice!

Some advice:
- try to find a club of slaughter (main hand) and a rapier of balance (offhand). The offhand weapon gets +50% parry and -50% damage, and 50% of the accuracy is added to the offhand strike.
- try to get a complete set of plate of protection. Shield and power have somewhat low PMI. In general, always try to get a set with the same prefix, as some values are added multiplicatively.
- use Protection, Regen, Haste, Shadow Veil (restrict to fewer skills if your mana consumption is too high).
- regarding masteries, pick what you like in the general tanks, DW, Heavy Armor, and the skills I just named.

I can only say (since I'm not expert about heavy armor) to use a "Club of Slaughter" and a "Rapier of the Nimble (high parry)" or "Rapier of Balance (high accuracy)" if u want use DW.

Agility adds evade and PMI, I have 255 compared to 290 intelligence. Dexterity adds parry chance, so add some of that too, though it doesn't need to be as high as agility.
Well, an all phase set of one element suffix would be best of course. You've got various suffix's on your armor, demon-fiend and heimdall do nothing for an elemental, aside from the stat increases and such.
If you use ice element then you'd ideally want to get all niflheim phase armors. Second choice probably being elementalist gossamer.
I'm not really sure how the stats are for ebony staff anymore, it's okay I'd say, but it could be improved too..
