By raising the attributes or elemental mitigation with crystals. Giving them crystals.

Hi, I started this game recently and have few problems.

I dont know what to equip and how to farm. This game is way too extensive...

I am level 24 now and wearing heavy armor and two handed sword. I felt that nothing cant go wrong with being tanky warrior in RPG.

I got them for around 300CP each. I tried to get ones with str,dex, end stats.

So the questions are
1. Should I buy expansive item now, or wait until higher level and buy high level limited items?
2. What are important stats for items?
3. I finished arena game, so what do I do next? I am doing item world on crude longsword, 125CP sell price item.

1. Visit WTS free shops.
2. For 2h weapons, Attack damage, Proc effect duration, then proc effect rate+crit, STR, DEX and AGI in that order.
3. Grindfest after arenas.

I'm gonna send you some stuff that I was going to throw away but might be better for you either to use or to sell. If you are going heavy, make sure to check you abilities page and make sure you have all the right things filled.

2. For melee, depends on what kind, but strength and endurance are always good, then you care about dexterity and finally agility.
3. Bad items aren't worth leveling up so you could do grindfest where you can get more drops and maybe better things or at least just more items. Also, if you're feeling brave, you can increase the difficulty and see how you do with that.

About the melee stats guide, it's STR=END>DEX>AGI>WIS>INT.
That's supposed to be for heavy, right? I'm light and I think STR>AGI>DEX>INT works better. I'm trying to figure out where WIS and END fit in there.

It's a generic catch-all for newbies. If you know what you're doing with your build of course you can deviate.

What does everyone think of hte new credit system in arena? For me it seems better than the recent system and compared to the old system it seems like a baby nerf...so still not good but better than what we had.

About niten ichiryu. I read that you won't gain any proficiencies when using them.

But from which proficiency(ies) does niten ichiryu benefit from?

1H? 2H? DW? or all of them?

It says in the ability tree (in game) but basically 2H damage, DW accuracy, 2H Parry, and DW Crit.

So prof gained in 2H will effect damage and parry while accuracy and crit come from DW prof.

Nightwishman, you are back??? The patch is much more playable now than when you quit, so you might enjoy it again. But you might need gear since you rage-dumped yours.... I can donate to you some plate for free if you are interested, but I don't have any ethereal maces.

I have a question for Heavy users. I am trying out Power of Protection, but the interference is just so high. What is the target interference for power I should aim for? Mine is 58.8 burden, 98 interference. Also, without forging, what is the minimum PMI for power that is acceptable in this patch's IWTBH? Mine is 68.3 PMI, and it's just not cutting it. My mana is getting sucked up, I have little evasion, and I'm getting hammered. Thanks for the advice.... I think I will go back to Shade at the moment....

I think it might be the same to the old system. Back then I made around 150k per day in Hell on great stamina. Now I do most of my arenas on Nintendo and made 160k. Its around the same and I don't have to buy ED to keep my stamina up.

Maybe its a bit better for me.

you need both high damage & high PMI to run IWBTH with power of prot (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)
( I use power of prot setup from lvl 100 till now ) (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/wub.gif)

my interference around 100 (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/cry.gif)
but I can finish IWBTH MAG IW & whole arenas (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

you maybe need some IA , sloth (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)
