You melee stragglers for ...well, used to be ET; now because of cooldowns.

I did some sleep+focus deep in grindfest last patch, but judged it overall too slow to use.

@anonymousdude: STR only contributes to melee damage and melee crit now I believe - no more HP or PMI from it. Judge for yourself.

No, it gives 3 Physical Damage per Staff Prof. It doesn't triple Staff Damage.

I can't see any sense in wasting a slot on Staff Damage. I just use T1s to deal with stragglers. Maybe it will be more useful if Staff actually gets a proper skill chain. (If there was one patch where I thought it would get one, it was this patch.)

That new ROB looks pretty scary (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/blink.gif), Facing all those bosses at once must be bloody, Might I ask for some advice before entering it on IWBTH for the 1st time? [I've quit HV for a pretty long time and lost some confident and playing ability]

I'm a power heavy melee with estoc btw, since I don't have enough AP to upgrade my DW abilities.

Actually I use the chain of dual-wield skills on schoolgirl marathons way more than I use to. Because of the quickbar and the fact I no longer need to build up OC for frenzy it has finally become faster in real time for me that just hacking away with spirit stance and dark+holy infusions on each weapon. I basically just activate spirit when OC gets above 220 and rip through the skills real fast on my quickbar. A 3x PA backstab that crits still does over 500k damage sometimes for me.

A lot of this is due to the HP nerf on schoolgirls though, without that I would be hating it, lol.

quick reviews for who want to fight new RoB (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)


bring alot of Spirit potion if you are heavy , believe me i almost get killed coz only use my reguler arena item set up ( 10 mana + 3 spirit ) (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/cry.gif)


kill yggdrasil first , then those dragon (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

after that fight that 3 ultimate ( RL , IPU , FSM ) (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)


trio is the last (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/happy.gif)


you don't want to kill trio first coz it will buff everything in that battle (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/dry.gif)



silence + weaken , gud luck (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/wub.gif)

They say that weaken and silence spell affect more enemies now, at what prof u can get that chain effect? I have about 100 depr prof and casted weaken about 2 dozens times but it only affected 1 enemy

at highest lvl tier , silence & weaken both can hit 3 enemy MAX (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

you need reach lvl 300 ( last time i check , don't know if tenB change it again ) to unlock final tier (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)
