Yggdrasil could always heal the other 3. I remember that being the reason I targeted the fucker down.

Didn't knew about that. Then again I used to silence them all in the past but now these dep magic don't last long like before. Heck same goes for sup magic Btw does anyone know what is the differece between these - better vs fast ability ? like example better weaken and than faster weaken This post has been edited by xcaliber9999: May 19 2013, 09:37

Silence prevented Yggdrasil from using spells. Still, it is recommended to take down the tree first before targeting the sisters. Better - increase duration & power of the spell. Faster - decrease the action speed used when casting a spell & the cooldown period.

In other word its a double waste of Ability points (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/dry.gif) Earlier version with only 5 AP was so much better

so any one figured out how to do random encounters on higher difficulties?
weaken everyone, haste, protect, spark of life, and use channeling for regen, but I still take shit tons of damage. the spirit meter also rises so much slower. without the ability to continuously heal myself I am so fucked.
since the patch, all the training for item slots and stuff got reset, and I don't have the credits to relearn all the item slots. I wish I got refund for unlearning those...

I can do RE's on IWBTH no problem. ...and I am not one to ever bother with depreciating spells. I am a DW/Shade user, though.
I basically just cast SS/SoL/Protection/Regen/SV/Haste/Heartseeker (using a Heroic Mana potion if required), and I'll pop a Heroic health potion while I'm at it.
After that it's just holding down 1-9 and using cure in between.

QUOTE I guess you need to reach a certain deprecating proficiency how much is your depre prof right now? You should already have it. Take a screen shot of your spells, post it, it should be there. You just need to reach a certain level which I believe you have. Also, shouldn't this now be called "Ask your fellow nubs..." lol aiwotorimodose SPoison Falbala456 Thanks for your replies. My Deprecating prof is 8. So does anyone know the magic Depreciating Proficiency percentage that allows Sleep to appear? Can't find in release notes. Does anyone know the Depreciating Proficiency percentage needed for Silence?

Sleep/Silence should be in the spell book. Go Character/settings/Quick bar slot ... you should find them there if not you need to level up more I guess This post has been edited by xcaliber9999: May 19 2013, 14:43

I can't even finish hourlies on normal...the same mage build and equips that I used to breeze through IWBTH failed to help me do the same with this new version...much thanks to the cooldown and "nerf-to-everything-spell-related"

Guess what appeared in the spell book and in the Character/Settings/Quick bar slot! Definitely was not there yesterday. Weirdly enough Blind supposedly level 130 is not showing. Neither is Imperil but looking at the ability chart maybe Imperil is level 150 (really unclear).

I do believe the EHWiki needs a lot of major updates with this new patch.

Major updates? It needs a complete rewrite! @MuffDiver99: You need to be about my level or higher, I think. All the Abilities get better, and around level 350, you can max out all the supportive spells. But at my level, you unlock Regen lvl 5, which heals ~1/14th max HP per player turn, and with 60+% of PMI, most mobs can't hit you hard enough to ding you harder than that. However, avoidance is crucial now, so go with Shielding armours. Really, SS and SoL are useless now to melees in Arenas. I'm going to put something else in my IA. Skills are useless to melees too, now that they can be avoided - just stay in Stance. This patch brings my mind back to 0.74, when Regen was bloody indispensable and SoL was something you cast just as insurance when you see 501st pop up. Protection now has a ridiculously long duration as well.

Has someone tried the Ether Theft ability?
The way I understand it, I'd need to spam a holy spell until "Soul Fire" proc, and then use drain.
If I'm correct, it sound like a awful lot of ability points to invest in the thing (Ether theft + improved soul fire + improved holy spells), for a MP gain that may be really underwhelming when compared to the MP needed to spam a holy spell a random number of times + drain.
Some for spirit theft and Rippened soul.

Back from a long vacation and it feels like a complete different game. I heard that credit earning from fighting is nearly non-existent now, is this true?
