So I was reading the patch, pretty damn dense, but at the end of it Ten mention some things are going to be removed and should be used or sold soon. Question, which things should I get rid of and which should I be fine with?

Anything with the word 'Soul' or 'Quintessence' is a good bet.

@inept: if it's by design, the infinitely restocking items will make you survive just about anything as long as you don't run out of shit in your primary inventory halfway.

I think they auto restock by default?
But they seemed to be greyed out and simply not selectable after using them. Is there a cooldown on those too?

Edit: They do restock after their duration is over.
P.S. Start using HP pots if you're melee.

Just tried my hand at the new HV...why is it that when I put points into HP tanks my overall HP doesn't increase ?

You need to put abilities into slots in order for them to take effect. Click on the HP Tank (the green icon) and you'll see what I mean.

You have to drag it to the slots. So you see there is a square image next to the bars, you can click on it or drag it and it will show up on top.

Can you still get the legendary title (after defeating the dragons at lv 300 arena with iwtbh difficulty) with mage now?

This new version of HV brought cd to the game and i dont think becoming a mage is efficient at this level just to earn that legendary title

Hell, deprecating spells AND curing AND absorb, to boot!

Nope, HV is not fit to play either as mage or as melee.

Just easier to play as melee, which isn't saying much right now.

How does Monster Lab work now?
Do you have to upgrade many more times in smaller steps instead of a few huge steps?
Or has it just become cheaper so everyone who has high PL mob has lost millions and millions of Credits?

I've just tried T&T on BT difficulty.

I could kill every monster like usual...
Until I noticed that there are barely potions drop, so I just give up around round 40 because I can't restore my mana anymore. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/faint.gif)

So, any advice?

i can live with deprec and supportive spells having cooldowns, since their effect usually last longer than the cooldown duration.

cooldown for offensive spells on the other hand... its just ridiculous!!!

imagine having just casted a T2 holy spell, you will have a 5 turn cooldown so even after casting a T2 dark spell, you are still stuck with staff-melee for 3 or 4 turns...

I don't think I can; cool-down for Imperil is brutal for elemental mages. Of course, that's assuming that it's still as important as it was before the patch.

But seeing how I failed to one-shot a mid-PL giant using a T3 wind spell after Imperil... (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)
